Feeling like shit yesterday I knew the babies in the basement needed a drink so I went down there gavem a drink and after checkin the settings on the heater I forgot to turn it around. Fuckin fried the top of my Hawaiian Snow and a few leaves on some others...what a dunce :dunce:

HS barbeque...I cut a little more of of it this morning. I think there are 6 limbs left. She took the brunt of it. I didnt want a bush but oh well.

3 BK clones...They have the same deficiencies as their mom. I am going to cull firt 2. I may let the third one go a lttle longer to see if it grows out of it. Im just not wasting my time of sick bitches from the start.

I was out of 1 gal so I stuck 2 in one. I think its a LS and SLH. The LS is the one with the claw. I will cull it on the up pot if it doesnt grow out of it.

This is a LS clone, I think because of the claw, but it seems to be growing out of it and dooing ok...

is your heater that tall skinny black thing in the corner? if so i can see how that would have happened easy mistake. I know how much i focus on my plants damage, but being an outsider looking at your plants damage i think you will be OK they don't look perfect anymore but i think they should be able to recover just fine.

Hey buddy just checked out all your pics. I like your cloning area with the white walls and that type of light and the dedicated hydrometer...I'm taking notes lol. Your veg area is real clean, I think tomorrow is cleaning day in my rooms.

And your right, you really don't want to waste time with phenotypes that are not going to make the cut. Space is a precious commodity here.

Catch you later SL

Yea thats the :fire: lol I was just so sick i didnt even feel like watering them. I turned it around to check the settings, not that they would change by itself but that just me check and double check, and forgot to point it back towards the wall. HS will be fine just may not get any clones unless she branches out good. I was going to veg her 3 more weeks anyway so all is good just a delay in her schedule.

Self inflicted lol I just cut of the damaged parts. Thats my veg cabinet and the Roots soil has enough juice in it to carry them to flower. None of them have gotten any nutes even the 4 plants I just put in flower tuesday have not gotten any nutes and they have grown 2"+ and look beautful. Ill give them some food when I see they need it. Im also flowering with my veg nutes only this round.

dam your clones look perfect
Thanks bro, Kock on wood lol Healthy plants healthy clones...:-P

Thank buddy, Thats my newest set up. I think its a keeper. Its a 2x3 closet in my bedroom it gets up in temps a bit but they seem to like it so far.

I like to keep it clean. Actually it needs wiping out now. Dirty grow areas invites problems and bugs...

I hear ya bro, no room for slackers...:bigjoint:

i use a remote one, i stuck a sensor in my flower and clone areas so i can sit at my desk and monitor all my temps from far away

http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-TM005X-Wireless-Outdoor-Thermo-Hygrometer/dp/B000EX83RU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1296172334&sr=8-2-spell

best feature imo is the auto tracking of your max high and low temp at every remote sensor
Thats a cool gadget. Thanks for sharing. My heater has a built in thermostat but it sucks. I have it set at 75 and the temps vary from 68 - 85 but the babies seem to be fine with it. Well as long as its not pointed directly at them...lol

now see what I'm doing is setting my heater on low, pointing it up and taking my temp readings high in the room, also have the fan blowing in the same spot as the heaters discharge.

i plugged the fan and the heater into a light timer i have free and set it to turn on and run for an hour every 4 hours.

and i have adjusted the length of my run times to maintain 78-85 in the day and 78-70 at night.

and as we get closer to summer i will continue to adjust it, i feel my grow room is much healthier for growing at a warmer temp.

if i were you and had to have the heater That close to my plants i would use one of these, no hot air blowing around just natural radiant heat.

heres a question i would like to pose to everyone, will constant changing temperatures hurt or help plants in any way,
for example on a avg day when the suns out it could be hot then a cloud passes buy for an hour now its cooler, then it clears up ans the sun really rages and it gets really hot.

makes me wonder if keeping your temps floating is better than steady, maybe changing temps could assist in plant processes of photo syntheses or transpiration of moisture and gases

It works fine as long as its not pointed towards the plants and has been working fine for 2 months!!!

I think you answered your own question. From my exp the plants worst enemy is the Gardner...

I hope everything pulls thru for ya.Its a shame just to cull plants..
I hear ya wtw but there are 17 pretty clones a waiting and more to come.
