i have the extreme q vape.. its a nice peice of kit.. i got the extreme kit for like $280 or so, and it comes with the extreme q, the remote, a ton of accesories, and an iolite as well.. not super crazy about the iolite, but the extreme q is def nice..
for a cheap handheld vape, i've heard a lot of good things about the launch box thingy..

the only vape that's actually worth it that's cheaper than the volcano is the herbalaire. otherwise I recommend you go with the volcano as I've heard the quality is unmatchable even by the herbalaire.
but the herbalare kicks the shit out of the extreme Q, or any other vape you can find under the price range of the volcano....

Before buying a Volcano, I had tried two other vapes 
The wooden box one with the whip was awkward to use with no temp gauge, the metal box that looks like a toaster can have a whip or bag and is rediculously loud and cant hold a steady temp. the bags are low quality and are like giant ziploc bags and it cost over $300. Both delivered a sub-par buzz compared to the Volcano which melts my face.

I had never used one before so and bought an easy vape last night from my local smoke shop for $80 out the door. The last thing I remember was trying to dial it in before I woke up on the couch this morning wondering where I was....hahaha

I love my silver surfer hits like a fucking bomb or you can turn heat down and get a mild hit.........temp gauges dont really give you an acurate temp other than Volcano it does the best on temp but any other vape is a waste.........just learn where to set you dial...its a learning curve and all pot issnt created eaqul you have to go higher temp on some and lower temp on others..........but it will knock you on your butt....you get twice the thc over combustion......plus I save my used bud and give to a friend and he get high as shit smokeing my left over............sometimes I make shit out of left overs but I have so much I just give it to him and toss in a couple of buds as a extra bonus sometimes..........there are alot to choose from out there..........but silver surfer works best for me.......I have a Kia vap I love but it doesnt hit as hard and the surfer.....due to its a set temp of 350. but its nice for stealth and carrying around.
Well it arrived from that distributor on Ebay in ONE Freaking DAY! WOW. Ok here is my honest review:
The unit itself is nice looking and very high tech. I researched it online and it said the temp setting should be like 365F to vapor, but I really couldn't get anything until about 410F. When it hit temp then yes it uses a lot less weed and the high is better then I have ever had with so little. As far as vapor goes damn the hype is true.
The build quality seems to be your typical china build cheaper quality but we will see how it holds up. It warms up quick and the fan is far quieter then I expected. You get a lot of accessories for the 164 and the unit works better then expected. If you're looking for a vaporizer thats good quality with out spending 800 bucks then its well worth the under 200 price. Very satisfied so far.

NP.. and I just figured out being a vapor noob that the bags are so much better!! Damn.. I was sucking outta the pipe last nite.. today I filled a balloon with a pinch (which it filled a pretty decent size bag in 1:50) and WOW.. thats the way to do it!!!

Its a thread made by our vary own fdd, involving a heat gun and a volcano bag set up ( I am pretty sure its the solid valve). It cost him 200 bucks to make, though I am sure you could make it cheaper..
