it's really ripening fast, i'm tempted to say it could be done at 8 weeks
but that's probably a week early, probably 9 weeks, so 2 more weeks is the guess
side bud production is pretty good, and some nice bud on the main stalk down lower that doesn't show up so well in cheap camera pics
the grow log tolls nearly 8 weeks, and all is fairly good
good bud, but the roosters drew blood, and some seed has appeared
tough to tell how much, not fully seeded by a long shot, count out the damages later
this is the small advantage of a single plant, no dusting of other plants
not that i'm too thrilled with the hermie trait, but if the quality of effect is good, i'll keep the genetics
which brings me the trichome check, lot of clear, was a little surprised, has a pretty ripe look

the bads are this plant hermied hard, it had 2 sets of roosters

yeah, outside did cross my mind, will have plenty of seed to spare
i was bound to get a hermie eventually, but it got me reading
some that have tried growing out such seeds find some seeds won't have the hermie trait passed, some will have the trait
so i think of them as low priced feminized seeds

Haven't checked in for ages and sad to see the word hermie =/ Shit happens and its just the way it is but I'm sure you know that of course. I hope their isn't too much seed formation! Still the smoke will be superb no doubt

thanks for dropping in newbgrower, you caught me right at the end of grow
actually was harvested today, total of 66 days of flower
9+ weeks of the 12/12, but changes were happening quick, amber trichs were popping fast
i saw no milky trichs, seemed to go from clear to amber, that's what i saw anyways
being a hermie grow, the haul of bud wasn't all that impressive, less than an oz, more than 1/2 oz
so that was disappointing, but the 9 week ripening time was a small positive
the strain could mature outside where i am, and the seeds are feminized, but the hermie trait is not wanted
it did have an interesting grow smell, wasn't real strong but noticeable
but undisturbed it was kind of a foul odor, not pleasant at all, and didn't smell much like MJ
when rubbed though, the small was good, which i thought a bit strange, we'll see how it cures out
the final test, effect, i cut off a tiny side bud, was smaller than i planned, couldn't have been more than 1/30 of a gram
so into a vaporizer with a tiny uncured side bud, well, this stuff does have kick, seems quite strong
definitely an indica feel, not much of the sativa about it
HGS brainwreck is supposedly a trainwreck x white widow cross, i have grown PPP which is also a WW cross

Looks like some unique stuff and I'm sure it will have a killer smoke! Any close-up bud shots?
i will post some best efforts later, the bud does have a nice look, not bad anyways
a non-hermied pheno of this would be better, i saw some on his grow site, luck of the draw
