Thats a good idea... remember light = love for your plants! LOL... thanks I am very proud of my WW... I keep a fan on the plants to strengthen them.
I am going to put a pic of my bag seed up here...

I wish I didn't do a stealth grow. It would be so much easier just to take up a room or get a tent. Aw well.

Wow a month and a half veg? Is it a clone or seed?

She is from seed... I haven't messed around with clones yet, but I am thinking about trying a few when I get some rooting gel... IDK yet about how long I am going to keep her in veg for sure, I guess it depends on her! LOL

you want to lose that tin foil. it wont reflect the light properly. try gey some of the white sheet from a hydroponic shop it will be cheap for your size.
if budgets an issue get some white paint in there. doing well though !

I think we told him that before... LOL, but he already had the box built... White poster board might be easier for you to cut and fit in there properly... and it's 2 for $1 if you go to a dollar store... You should use them in both boxes.

I love my new tent... If you ever get the chance to get one, I highly recommend it!

Yah guys. I can't do much about it now. I'll take it apart and replace it with posterboard for the next grow probably.

Today was an awful day. I'm just going to copy and paste what I posted in my bagseed thread because I'm not in a good enough mood to explain it again
I've done so much crap today it makes me sad how badly everything turned out. I got a pH meter that turned out not to be correct in any way at all. So the adjustments I tried to do with the meter probably threw everything off... Then while I was trying to water it, the bottom of the bag broke and the drainage water poured out onto my carpet. So I had to break off part of my grow box and dry everything up.

So what I've accomplished today...
-F*cked up the pH more probably
-Had to break my grow box
-Overwatered like hell.

Day 12: Overwatered and looks shitty

I'm probably going to go by my local nursery and get a bag of soil that isn't shitty. The MG moisture control I'm using takes incredibly too long to dry out and makes it and will make it hard for when I need to add nutes but have to wait until the next watering. AND WHAT TYPE OF SOIL DOESN'T HAVE MAGNESIUM?

Get yourself some Fox Farm Ocean Forest and watch your ladies take off!!! Best soil I have ever grown in (not just pot, but raspberries and tomatoes too)

Damn... just saw the last page. Sorry to hear about your day dude. Maybe its time to think about other options for a grow area/container of sorts. Have you ever considered a storage container grow? You would need a more vertical space for flowering, but they can stay in there during veg...

This pic is another grower from my 1st thread... Great set up

I have actually and I have a box built already. But I'm just not sure how to fit my lights in there. It's 3 boxes stacked on top of each other with holes cut in the bottom and the lids. Then I'd have to buy a HPS for it though because I don't really have a way to light up that much of a bigger area. Plus I wouldn't have a way to keep them separate so I'd have to veg and flower them at them same time and Sasha is almost 3 weeks older than my youngest. I just need to decide where to invest my money.

What type of soil can I use that isn't FF because I can't get that anywhere around here or MG because the water cycle and pre-packed nutrients are just giving me a facef**k and completely messing up everything. Like what NPK do I need? I've looked around and here's my plan. Please tell me if it'll actually work before I go spend money on it.
-straight soil (no predone nutes)
-perlite
-3/1/2 NPK mix ferts
-Mix the soil and perlite in a 70/30 ratio
-add in the 3/1/2 fert at low strength and work my way up as the plants need it

btw. I ordered a $60 pH meter that has gotten good reviews so pH lock shouldn't be a problem once I move to my new soil

Is there not a single hydro or indoor growing store where you live??? (cant help as much bc idk where...) but I know you can order it on-line... like amazon. The great thing about it is that it's already ph balanced soil, no nutes needed for up to four weeks. I don't own/use a ph tester bc I use distilled water from a jug. It's already at 6.0ph... so the mix of the 2 hasnt given me any problems, haven't had to use nutes at all yet.

As far as the box... thats a good idea, but remember that you are going to have small plants for a bit, so only one box will be more than enough space right now. You can attach your tubes to the top of the box (with zip ties maybe), and you can even make a power strip assembly like the one I showed you before... that can also be zip tied to the lid... More than enough light and space for beginning vegetative growth

If you send me a private message with your whereabouts, I can try and find a place for FF for you... It's more widely available than people think it is... MG killed my first set of plants... haven't done anything different this time but the soil... and well, you have seen how nice they are...

Yah I have 2 that I know of around here but I checked one and they didn't have fox farm. I just bought some plain potting soil without nutes, mixed in some perlite and small rocks for drainage, and added some 5-3-3 mix. I'm going to try that out. Just gonna wait for my pH meter and get the pH right to transplant my baby widows that are only a few days old. I'm also going to order an HPS. I've finally decided :-). Just trying to decide between 250W or 400W. I'm going to go ahead and build the entire box (and remember to allow drainage this time lol). I'm just going to see where this goes with the correct pH, sufficient light, and carefully monitored nutes.

Sorry about your losses... that sucks! But, live and learn
I just planted a WW seed today in my new soil mix. I hope it'll sustain them correctly. I also told you guys about the pH meter and HPS so I hope I can keep my nutes and pH in check this time. btw. my new soil drains much better than my old MG. and I really hope that my 5-3-3 mix in there wasn't too strong and won't kill em right away.

All you are going to do with those nutes is burn your plants before they even get a chance to grow... you really should let them sprout up and get a few leaves before considering nutes... but the 5-3-3 is a good mix, just not yet... Let them have a chance to live first. LOL
