okay if you check out my sig, you will see i have a very large grow operation currently, which is 100% legal.. my landlord is cool with it. unaware to me there is a rental housing inspection process that happens when a new tenant moves into my city.. he was trying to get them not to do it, by rescheduling, etc. but they are really pressing him to do it. what the fuck should i do with 40 3 foot plants and 32 2 foot plants?!?! its 12 degrees here mid winter... i need some advice and will answer as many questions pertaining to this situation to help anyone who can help me!!!!

my issue is, i dont want my house to be labeled as a "grow op" by the inspector, legal officials talk. in there eyes my house is now a "hot spot" for criminal activity, which in reality it isnt. i just dont wanna get fucked with

i had one of those bullshit inspections once.

do u get paperwork that says do not enter unless resident is present?

just let them knock dont answer and they will go away

I'd say post your lease agreement for review but there is a lot of sensitive data in there.
You have 1 of 3 options.

1. Bud the shit out of what you have now
2. Cut your losses and clean up quick
3. Take the risk of them finding out but you are 100% correct, if he sees it, even though it's legal, he'll be talking about it for sure, which makes you a sitting duck.

My Inspection is Tub, Tiles and Heater Inspection so if you dont have any of that in your grow room you should be fine

If you are 100% legal and have everything in order, it doesn't seem like you have much of a choice but to cooperate. I live about 65 miles down the road, I'll take 3 of each strain you have for safe keeping.:leaf::leaf::leaf:

yeah man, its really eating me alive today... while im at work no less. heres my idea, please let me know what you think

the inspector is going to look at the furnace, water heater, a/c, plumbing, look for mold, etc. all of which is in my grow room, or actually only accesable by going through my gardens. so what i was thinking was a good idea, is pushing my bed up against the wall in my 2nd story loft bedroom and loading all the plants into boxes from the front of the room to the back, and write "bedroom" or "storage". also pack the lights up and move them to my friends house or into closets. i cannot afford to chop everything down, nor do i feel its necessary. moving the plants mid winter really scares me of killing them as well as my neighbors seeing me.. i have a detached garage so i cant pull a car up to my house lol, plus its a corner house so i have no driveway leading to any doors on my house.

if all the plants dont fit into one room, i will use the spare room as another "storage room". i figure the basement will be the main focus for the inspector, unfortunatly my ENTIRE basement (1,500 sqft) is a grow op..

PLEASE THROW SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE!! thanks everyone for your help and concern. it is friday so i dont expect it to be this weekend, but next week for sure. yes ignoring the situation would work, but i would personally like to get this out of the way. if i evade them i will also look shady, and it could possibly be worse for me in the end, pissing my landlord off as well and potentially loosing the house.

if its to cold to leave them in a van/truck you could rent a climate controlled storage shed.

That uhaul idea is perfect I here's where my suggestion gets creative. (you said you're up for any ideas lol) get the uhaul and park it as inconspicuously close to the nearest wall outlet you can. Now you gotta find an super long extension cord but not fuckin hunter orange so if you can't find a black one you may have to paint it. Where the cord plugs in I would have other things plugged in around it so it's not just one suspicious cord in a lonely outlet arbitrarily running off somewhere. You get what Im saying, disguise the cord. That's the whole idea and why it can't be bright colors. You take this cord and snake it through every crack and crevace or underneath anything possible. You sneakily snake this cord all the way to the uhaul truck. Run it to the inside of the nearest tire and snake it upward to the underneath of the truck. You do this so no one can tell a cord is even ran to the inside of a closed and locked uhaul and avoid that weird suspicion raising flag. So you'll have to be sneaky about how to enter that cord into the back, think stealth. The end result should be a completly invisible power source to the back of the uhaul. Once you've succesfully accomplished that feat you'll then have the necessary means to power lights and heaters for your girls. Lol. Crazy I know but it's the cheapest most reasonable option that won't make you have to destroy anything and won't make you have to burden a friend for a hiding space that can't grow legally putting them at risk. You can do it bro i believe in you lol.

So high right now btw lolll

Or if your landlord was really cool he'd house them for you in his place. They shouldn't have to go into his living space just to drop by for an inspection.

He won't need to power lights.... just a heater... I'd rent the van.... pack it up, lock it. leave at address because of legality transporting it.

The inspector is just going to come in, do his business and go....

It is a good idea if his property can accommodate it. Even if he does have a cord running to it, inspector has no right asking about that. You also have your right to privacy, so extra gear and such can go it tubs and boxes and stay on premises. .

Good luck man! I think hiding it all in other 'storage' areas is the best bet. Use carbon filters to kill smell and oscillating fans, maybe a dahumidifier, or just make sure they're dry when you do this. Another thought along the lines of rental truck would be one of those PODS things. I think they even have climate controlled ones though im not sure about that.

Whatever you do don't get lazy! As you undertake an operation of this size it will be tempting to say 'that's good enough', or 'that won't matter' but stay vigilant! As far as the cold, I just moved my grow from one house to another and they all seem ok. No hermies, but maybe some lackluster performance but certainly acceptable for the circumstances.
