I do... I'm using a 600W HPS from HTG right now.do any of you use 600w? I need some imput on how i should do this
I was wondering, if I had 2 600w lights. next to one another for a flower room. Should I use two HPS bulbs or 1 600w MH conversion and 1 HPS and rotate plants regularly.
Well i would think you would need 2 seperate rooms, unless you plan on just doing one crop at a time, other wise you should have to seperate rooms for the little childr .... plants.I was wondering, if I had 2 600w lights. next to one another for a flower room. Should I use two HPS bulbs or 1 600w MH conversion and 1 HPS and rotate plants regularly.

"marijuana, like all green plants, uses light to fuel photosysnthesis.so the more useable light the plant recives, the faster they grow.however, the chloroplasts, little organs in the cell where the process takes place, use the blue and red spectrums most effectivly . they dont use green light and theyare fairly inefficent users of yellow and orange.unfortunatley for plants, both hps and mh lamps produce most of there light in these spectrums. hps lamps produce more total useable light then mh lamps.contrary to what store owners and others will tell u ,in controled experiments hps lamps outperforms mh lamps alone or mixes of mh and hps lamps. the reason that growers intuitivley think that different spectrums are needed is that to our eyes,mh looks more like mid summer and hps looks like fall .vendors and growers who have succeded following there advice have accepted the myth.the truth is that hps lamps support veggitive growth better then mh lamps.they grow faster and bigger and yeild a greater dry weight.there is no need to use mh lamps in your garden ..."
