Heaven forbid my local hydro store has a gift certificate contest and I won... you'd see me go in and come out a week later becomes I wimble over prices vs value.

Yea I hope to be keeping me hands full for the next few months, soon it will be warm enough for what one could call the appleseed movement. In theory if enough cannabis was instituted back into the environment eventually we'd have wild cannabis, perhaps even a new hybrid in time that can withstand colder tempatures. Almost every year one may try to put plants out various places, nothing blatant or obvious rarely in town and leave them to nature. Thats a big thing, one has to stay away from the plant after it has been planted never give any way for you to be connected to it in the future hence no plant off trails you are known to take to your out of town family's nothing with any remote connection too you. And around harvest time if you know where they were just because you only put out two or three or if you took the detail too gps mark them on a SD card then lock it in a remote safe away from you grow room (if you get busted for your grow room and they find the GPS evidence you are in a world of hurt) but back to main topic if you decide to attempt to harvest the plant IF on the remote chance it is still there put duct tape on the bottom of your shoes or have a pair prepared to throw away after harvest (same with planting the small plants always have duct tape or a pair of often replaced grow shoes shoeprints can convict) head out and if it is early or late you went out there so get it now or never come back take your harvests back home and make Hashish. And always leave a few unmarked because the cannabis can't evolve if we harvest all of it.

NOTE: This is what a select number of individuals do, I in know way condone trying to do this as it is very risky and should be done for reason of belief not for a harvest but to say something. You can't stop nature. A war on a plant, without refinement or tamper is as insane as a war on water. Sorry for this weird rant but I am fighting the flu and for the first time in years I took some theraflu out of desperation. And I gotta tell ya man I am high as kite off this stuff, I can't believe the things you can get over the counter.

In past years I harvested 15-25% of what I put out for nearly zero work and the chance of the "where'd you come from!?" factor is worth it to me. Like I said it's about a message more than about cropping. But only 12 inches and higher typically survive the long solo journey. In june to july one may consider 2 fter's they will stay pretty small so not easily came across and much more likely to survive (as long as you acclimate first)

When one does it is nice although last year all the outdoor crops were ruined by an early storm that beat the hell out of half the survivors and the other half got mold by harvest time. So you are at the will of nature no matter what.

There are so many factors as to how tall it will be, soil, location, weather, when planted. But as a general rule of thumb for my tristate area mid-late spring good light 4-6 feet early to mid summer 3 maybe 4 and late summer 2-3 feet I don't plant in the start of fall though the stretching is bad enough when they go out but if ya put em out on the cusp of fall they seem to stretch the most. And these factors are all assuming you grew the candidate to 1 ft of good bush before putting her out.

Well I woke up this morning and it was kinda hot in here, 85 in the cardboard box and 83 in the mama room. But woke up opened a window and decided... it's time to watch the weather charts got a lot of crops going this year may need to start the AC early this year.

Chapter 4.1: Preview of the ghettoneering speaker box.

Ok first of all the formatting here may be a bit strange the pictures on being weird... so bear with me.

Ghettoneering1 002.jpgStill in progress for probably the next week but here it is.
Ghettoneering1 004.jpglike my trademark exhaust vent system? go slurpee.
Ghettoneering1 006.jpgrunning 108 Watt's at this moment
Ghettoneering1 008.jpgexhaust temp is about 70 but still air tighting up this sucker
Ghettoneering1 005.jpgthis is the clone I need to transplant for flower, ignore the extra duct tape just to make sure she didn't get damaged while she was moved from the mother closet out here.

Soon to come: I will be making a light trap for the center exhaust vent which can later be filled with laundry fresheners and eventually activated carbon. I will also be making a new thread for this growbox once it is complete, which will be soon. She is in there now today I lowered her light cycle from 24/0 to 22/0 and every other day I will be lowering it two more hours or 1 hour each day depending on how busy I am until she reach's 12/12. She will be LSTed a bit and as you can tell I have been doing a bit of supercropping and I also need to make the fan light resistant :) you'll see. Although sorry organic growers but this plant will be using (blech) MG fertilizer and molasses.... yes yes haze me now but I don't have my FF yet and this plant has been chemical fed anyway may as well keep it that way.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Questions? Please any and all appreciated.

Oh and the strain is unknown it was from a patient whom gave me a mother and I know nothing about her background so this will be a surprise for us all.

Ok folks quick update on a few things, the muses are having PH issues first nutrient burn now this so I have (sigh) demoted them to closet duty for the warmer weather and also due to not confusing which of my hybrid's have which traits (I am starting a chart! Stupid kush forgot it had a lot of sativa characteristic's including flowering traits.) I replaced the 5 in the cardboard with three strong clones from my bubble cloner which hopefully will not get burnt... AGAIN... if so then damn this fortified soil.

Also on the speaker box front it is 3/4th's done now my clone for flowering has been transplanted to a 1.4 gallon plastic bag because I didn't have any pots the right size... (sighs one of those days) but the box is looking great so far really coming along will love to show you the finished project, also soon need to go get more T connectors because I plan to add 2-4 more lights as she goes into flower, we're going to be busy folks so stay tuned!

dam, sorry to hear about the bad luck, do you think its the nutes in the soil doing this? or the ph being off?

it'a ione of the two, these clones I just put in have a hardy root network so maybe they won't have any burn issues, keeping a CLOSE eye on these suckers to see what happens. I need to go through my equipment drawers and find my old soil PH tester haven't needed to use it in a while but it's either the burn or PH and I am going to figure out which...

And the speaker box plant is looking happy enough a little droopy from yesterdays transplant but we will see what happens, better bust out my PH tester soon though if the speaker box clone has PH issues too and it throws off my harvest I'll be a wee bit annoyed.

Busy busy day but I think I know what the issue is, the plant I just transplanted to this fortified organic soil is showing signs of MG lockout and leafs curling cupping and drooping so I think PH is safe bet, especially since murphy's law just kicked in... my soil PH tester has decided everything and I mean EVERYTHING is PH 8.0, including my front lawn....... so I just gave her a good flush with PH neutral water and every watering I will be keeping that up until she is back to normal. (sighs) damn you murphy and your system of laws that never fail.

Well I won't have any money for a new tester for a few days so to at least get a better idea tomorrow I am taking a fresh sample from the bag and testing it using vinegar, baking soda and a couple of mason jars... or at least vinegar my suspicion is the soil is highly alkaline but tomorrow's test will find out. (thank you organic chemistry!)
