I was watching Marijuana USA on MSNBC just now and i seen this dude with grow bags that are FIN HUGE they look like Contractor bags he said his plants yield anywhere from 2-3 pounds thats great!
good post duchie, i like the video to, i cant tell but the yellow ones look sad like they need some good food, less water or it is ph issue. all the others look great though man, i think i just saw your 1st generation of seeds made on the breeding showcase toLST'ers how's it going. Sorry I haven't popped by in a while mcp, dealing with alot of males and overnutes and stuff but I've put a video together and it shows my topping and LST'ing, particularily my WW that I topped UB style and then snapped one branch off where it was barely hanging on, but along came Dr. Duchie and made her all better. Took the splint off today.
Hey ENDLS, I just got into photography last year myself, with my Canon Rebel XS and I've said the same thing, tripod, tripod, tripod. You are trying to take closeup pics and ANY shake, either you or the subject, so turn your fans off, will show in the pic. I keep saying I'm going to start a photography thread here but can't get my lazy ass to sit down and put it together. So I saw the ginseng there and thought I'd post some pics of some ginseng and tobacco around my neck of the woods.
Ginseng. Depending on type or grade of ginseng, can take up to 5 years to harvest.

Tobacco. 3 leaf nodes that ripen from the bottom up. Plant is harvested by picking the lowest node through the whole crop, allowing the second level to ripen for the next go around, until the whole crop is harvested.

wat is a better way of LST? to spiral the lady around the bucket or to let her grow normal and just tie down the side branches? also would topping help during LST? first week of flower. pic will come soon hopeing and praying my 2 babies turn out to be female keep ur fingers crossed
i always top then lst, but in flower do not top. i only do minor lst the first 2 weeks of flower if any, if you do tie down just do a lil bit or just wait till the next plant.
O YEAH GO PACKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well my afgooey is a male. Ended up collecting some pollen. Gonna breed the stud
alot of people use them now, they have 100 gal smart pots now toDude im not even jokein they where huge! like a semi truck tire length round and prolly about 3 foot tall These plants where trees.
If you let the plant get real dry and somewhat wilted (but not so wilted that it damages the plant), you can manipulate the stalks very easily with little risk of damaging anything. I did this on some big plants before and it worked great.I've just began my second LST attempt today. My olant is in its 3rd day of flowering after a 30day veg. I tyed it at the middle, put an anchor down, and have bent it afew degrees the opposite way. Ill keep doing this everyday till its at a 90 degree angle rougly then start on new growth.
Way ahead of ya =]If you let the plant get real dry and somewhat wilted (but not so wilted that it damages the plant), you can manipulate the stalks very easily with little risk of damaging anything. I did this on some big plants before and it worked great.
thats really cool how you did that. plants are still looking good
Thanks. They're loving the organics (FFOF and Blue Mountain Organics). They get bushier everyday. I'm at day 27 from seed now. I'm thinking 45 days total before I flip the lights, but we'll see how things go. Might be more like 40 (or less). In 18 more days those things are going to be gigantic hedges the way things are going. I've only got 3'x2' of floor space (4'x2' if I don't use side lighting), so I don't want to veg for too long. I got four fems and four regs going and plan to keep 6 if two of the regs turn out female. They'll finish in 3.1 gallon maxipots.thats really cool how you did that. plants are still looking good
dam man they look great. PK is purple kush right?here are my 2 PK ladies @ 7wks flower
got 2 WW in veg
wow. ive heard of mrs. but only with one branch tip. never seen 4 like you are doing. i think they should root, tops are harder to root, but with some time i think they will make it plus it has one root system already.View attachment 1430920View attachment 1430921View attachment 1430922
Think the tops of the meristems will root eventually in the bubbler?
Definitely will. What I want to eventually do is root the top, cut the branch off at the original trunk, place the upside down rooted clone in a 5-gallon DWC ... and see what happens while flowering in my tent.wow. ive heard of mrs. but only with one branch tip. never seen 4 like you are doing. i think they should root, tops are harder to root, but with some time i think they will make it plus it has one root system already.
keep us updated please

sucjs about the mites, but neem works good for them, i use it all the time, i also spray my plants with it when they dont have them to prevent it. make sure you use a spreading agent in the spray bottle like a drop of natural soap to help the neem spread easier. lady bugs are always good to have in the grow room as well. i always kept them in theriDay 29 from seed, day 9 of LST:

On a side note, I found out I have mites. Never had them before. Only saw one though. Plants are shiny from all the nasty ass neem I put on them yesterday.
