So a 4th seed popped it's head out to see whats going on, and Little Sprout's roots are going crazy! lol...they've hit water, as well as the seedling across from her. ALso, I shot down a bunch of flying saucers to use as rockwool covers. Little green men now live in the rez, but it's cool, cause I have a fear of mayonnaise.

And here are Lefty and Righty doin their thang. They're developing a lot of pistils, and things are looking good. Everyone is happy and healthy. I've had to raise the lights on Righty a few times so far, but I've been letting Lefty stretch a bit to catch up on her vertical growth sin'ce i've been pretty aggressive with the LST as of late.

nice vids meta, they didn't show up on my phone, so just watched them now. those roots are looking strong!! and that's great about mayonnaise, for real. not to mention, righty and lefty are looking sweet. how long have they been in 12/12? it looks like they're maybe a week ahead of my girls... nice.

Thanks bro! I still feel bad about the air filter...They've been in 12/12 for about 13 days, and I'm totally glad our girls are near the same age! And the roots are growing like crazy, just checked 'em right now and all 4 plants have roots in water!

QUICK UPDATE

So all 4 plants in the DWC have hit water, gonna ditch the top-feed system tomorrow. Gotta drag my girlie around at some point to get pH up and down after we go to the zoo. Then tomorrow night it's time for a rez change and their very first dose of nutrients! I'm using this stuff called "Super Nutrients" SVA and SVB 2 part veg nutrients. I bought them because they were the cheapest, they were clear(I wanna keep my water and roots clean),they were the cheapest, they're chemical I think...lol, and 2 different guys that work at 2 different hydro stores said they used 'em...And they were the cheapest. We'll see if I pay for being cheap, but I'm not caught up in the nutrient company marketing mumbo jumbo. If my plants like it, i'll keep using it, if not, too bad...lol...or maybe I'll try something different. Glad my plants are finally starting to take hold in the DWC, didn't wanna waste seeds on failure, but sometimes the hardest lessons are the ones best learned ;)

yo dude, i appreciate you feeling bad, but seriously enough of that shit! haha, no but seriously, check out my 'trueair' solution for my exhaust in my last update (post #207)... i'm still tweaking things with intake, but i think this is gonna work!! and we're gonna have similar harvest times, that is sweet!

glad to hear the dwc is working and your babies are rooting... my next grow i might try dwc, and i'll ask you for suggestions (but i will refuse to listen to any suggestions involving an air filter, that i can guarantee, lol).

Yeah, I checked out your trueair solution, it looks like a tight setup. I was in walfart the other day and saw them for like 20 bucks, might have to pick one up eventually, but i don't really have to worry about smell. As for similar harvest times, that means ROADTRIP....lol....I'd love to share some smoke, bro! And yeah, the DWC setup SEEMS to be really easy so far...but I've barely begun. All I know is it was easy and cheap to set up, but I'm not sure how good of a hydro grower I'll be. I better do well, cause I only have 2 seedlings in soil right now, and one is burning from the soil it's in. Weird, because I thought they were the same seeds, must be different pheno's so I really hope it makes it. The other one is just happy as shit, doin' it's thing, but i'd feel better if I had 2 grow to maturity for a better chance of getting a female in soil.

YouTube is doing site maintenance, so we'll do this the old fashioned way...lol...First off, roots are going crazy. Totally happy, but I made some changes to their atmosphere today. In other words, I did a resevoir change, FINALLY pH'd the water, and they are drinking up nutes now. I figured their roots are big enough and their gonna be hungry. So wish me luck, they might all be dead in the morning...lol...Little Sprout is the one on the right in the first pic, and the closeup in the 4th pic

Also, I was at the dollar store today, and I saw these plastic flowers on the shelf, moving all by themselves...it's solar powered...you'll see when i post a vid. I figured my little ones could use a nanny for the time being.

lookin real nice bro. those roots are going crazy. and lefty and righty (or righty and lefty, i forget) are bulking up nicely. now if you could only teach that plastic flower to water them you'd be set. i'm gonna update my thread now.

thanks brother, appreciate it. Glad you have beans about the same age as me, and I hope the bubba and blackberry grow to be big strong plants. I might start mine over, but we'll see when I get home(at work now). Haven't checked on the seedlings since I pHed the water and added their nutes.

I decided the toy flower isn't their nanny, it's their slave driver. I know as soon as I leave for the day it busts out the whip and gets to work on 'em. No, really, i didn't want them to get lonely when i'm not around...I already sleep in my grow tent, you know, for co2 benefits! So I was noticing they were getting seperation anxiety when I went to work, my neighbors keep complaining about the barking.

the solar powered plant gave me an idea... a solar powered minifan? for air movement? does such a thing exist? why or why not?

Yep, first time in DWC, might still start these ones over, I didn't start them right but they seem to be growing, if slowly. And wow, solar powered mini fan, genius! I think I saw them at RiteAid over the holidays in their little bargain 5 dollar "i don't give a shit about you" present section. Now I seriously wanna look for them, for air circulation around the stem later when they're bigger! GENIUS homer!
