Hi guy's I'm growing 3 different strains under 6500k 125 watt Feliz bulbs and all I can say is you do not 2700k lights to get th job done.I have done this as expierement because I've already finished the same strains under 2700k.So now I wanted to try it with 6500k and the 6500k lights are kicking ass on the 2700k's.Under 6500k lights the buds are much bigger,harder and look more potent!I'm putting my 2700k lights away for good because I've seen the results and 6500 is a more powerful spectrum.I just wanted to let you guy's know so you can try for yourself!

Wheres the proof? do you realize cannabis plants have 2 types of chlorophyl, one that deals with the red side of the spectrum and one of the blue and only using one part of the spectrum wastes that potential energy production?

i fail to see those buds as amazing, no offense, for 3/4 of the way they are small and underdeveloped. most of that is popcorn, i see no real colas. they look alright i guess if thats what your happy with, but you could do alot better my brother.

I dont have HPS BRO!Plus this piece of shit camera cant show you the detail!So you think 9" long 2" diameter buds are popcorn!Where do you live can I get some of the buds your smokin!I get the 100$ strains all the time and the biggest buds are 4" 2"diamter so you tell me!They look like sugar has been poured over them!

This is 14,000 Lumen setup!I'm pretty sure your right a 90,000 to 110,000 Lumen HPS would triple what I have!

IDK about that as proof. If you had no 2700k spectrum your argument might be more convincing. They look a little stretched though. If you want fat buds and good yield with cfls you need to keep em short and bushy and get the lights closer. I'm not trying to be mean just giving pointers. I still wouldn't pass up a joint of your shit. Thanks for sharing your experience.

what makes you automatically assume i use a hps light? it's true, dont get me wrong, i love my 400w hps, but ive done many many many cfl grows and my nugs were always bigger than what youve got their. its not hard to do at all. cfls can work great, i never said you needed to switch to hps if you dont want to, but you can do better still. what watt lights do you have? all the 6500k 125w feliz bulbs i see put out 10k lumens, so you must be mistaken somewhere. i clearly see many more than 1 bulb in your setup.

I have to agree. That is an ok crop for CFL, but I would have been embarrassed to post pictures myself. Once you manicure and bag those buds, you are going to find out that you have a bunch of small buds. When you get buds the size of your forearm then come tell us how much better daylight bulbs do then soft white. But just because people did not agree with you thinking these are some Frankin Buds is no reason to go POSTAL.

Most likely what happened is you did not do some of the mistakes on this crop you did on the last. Which is a good thing. IS this like your second or third crop ever? If so Very nice crop. But if that is your 50th, I would suggest you try to dial things in.

thats a fairly normal bud, under 400-600w hps and several years of experience.

still...

everyone that has hps, it would be difficult to convince those that blue cfls work better than red, having seen , say a 150w hps performing next to 300w of cfls, the difference in budsize is astounding and entirely in the hps favour.

usually the consensus in flowering is, 2 hps to 1 mh, or 2 2700k to 1 6500k.

there is occasionally someone that claims the opposite, like you. but in general (general gardening too) RED is favored over blue lights in flowering for giving bigger and better flowers.

however, there is some truth with the blue lights giving more potency in mj, probably the uv. or just the blue light..

in my own experiments, that seems to be possibly right, but ive seen nothing conclusive and i think we have to wait for legalization and proper experiments to settle that matter.

but hey, if it works for you.

btw, those are very nice buds for small cfls and the number of crystals (above average) seems to suggest your theory, but the better you run your grow, the better your plant grows and that includes budsize and trich number.

was it the same everything you used? have you run that strain countless times, so you are absolutely sure how it runs?

and so on.
