If they had what appeared to be a gun, then you could've not taken them seriously. Nobody is going to kill some random person for what they have in their pocket, at least not in America, not usually.
But they had a knife, a little poke with a knife wont kill you. It'll take you by surprise, incapacitate you for a brief moment in which they can grab what you've got on you, but it's a non-lethal means of solid intimidation.

lol someone tried to rob me before saying he was gonna shoot me so I stabbed him up lol,ended up getting charged with attempt and he testified against me in court.Had a self defense case and it should of been dropped from the preliminary but the DA didn't like me.
Hes lucky I didn't have a gun because he would of got the clip emptied in his face and I would of still beat the case.He did learn his lesson from the knife though.

got a sawed off and a bb gun lol stuck in me and my friends face in the middle of the day.They got 1200 dollars from me and 300 from my friend then there gonna say to get in there car lmfao.I sad fuck that and punched him,grabbed the barrel and threw him down.I got punched and shot with a bb gun while that all happened.I ran up the street and cut around the corner and took off down a alley that led to my back yard.

Kind of lol.There was 5 of them.And while I was trying to get the gun out of his hand I was getting punched and shot in the face lol.Them co2 guns do damage.
I wouldn't of been able to keep trying to take it off him cause I was feeling dizzy from all the hits I was taking and the fact that I would of got chopped in half if he would of shot me lol.
I could of probably got it if my friend didn't run once I hit him.I did get some nice hits in though.

i got robbed, by 6 black kids (how stereotypical), it was like 5pm, i was a couple blocks away from the hospital luckily. they came up behind me with knives, they told me to give them everything i had, and i told them to fuck off, they stabbed me really bad in the back of my right knee, and a few pokes in my back and thigh, they got my paycheck and ran off, i limbed to the hospital and had to get a shitload of stitches in my leg, and some in my back, i was on morphine pills for a while for the pain, i couldnt walk for a long time, my leg couldnt support my weight, i would just limp around, thankfully everything healed properly, and im perfectly fine today.

u shoulda just given them the check. its not like they can cash it haha just cancel it and get a new one

I had 2 big fallas try to rob me for $25 worth of good Afghanny Hash back in the 80's....Luckily enough the pool hall where aforementioned incident took place was kind enough to supply me with a the right end of a pool cue for the purposes of beating these 2 big tough guys about the head and shoulders long enough that they were inclined to leave said establishment rather bruised and embarrassed and without my awesome hash. My lovely girlfriend at the time, a very comely blonde lass who shall remain nameless then followed these 2 goons to their hideout and alerted the rest of the guys that they had successfully ripped off as to there whereabouts. Street justice was meted out and these 2 fools left for what I can only assume would be kinder surroundings or easier pickings.

I've never been ripped off for drugs because I follow a few simple golden rules:
# 1 Never front your money.....
# 2 Never trust anyone...........
# 3 Refer to # 2...............................

I wont lie that story reeks of bullshit but I will say I follow those same rules which is why I've lost very little money over the years. I dont trust ANYONE. Like when I sold pills I could get a 20 dollar pill for 12 bucks if I gave the money to my friend, or get it for 14 and get it right here. I would always choose paying more and getting less profit to secure the transaction right there. And dont get me wrong, y friend with the 12 is a straight business man and very honorable but I just dont trust ANYONE...Ive been attempted to be ripped off by even my own mother.
