To update you guys on the progress of the plant I used the screen on , I dont think I'm going to get the results I could have if I had started the screen earlier and actually grew into it . I put it on after the streach so it seems the heads that i popped through the screen aren't going to get tall enough to yield out good , but it did spread the plant out to where I have many heads that I think will plump up nice but not be very tall . There's around 12 heads on it so we will see.
For instance the Purple Flo thats on the same timeline is taller and those heads are lined up with buds all the way up on most of them .Its looking good but I dont think I want to run any more 2nd gen clones ,for any of the PF and PE i have now are 2nd gen and dont seem to be as strong and hearty as the 1st gen clones , directly off F1 mother . I'm not too sure if thats the reason or not though because the last PF I have is going to be impressive guys , so for the fact of how long it has been vegging . It's trunk is big around and I,m letting the heads grow taller b4 they flower .I think its important when doing LSt to let them grow up some first or you will end up like my PE with the SCROG .

This is a Medibud ,it went up Thursday . It's a 1st gen clone . I Trained through veg and let it grow up some .

Here's the story behind that Medibud . I bought from a dispensary that buys there clones from outside sources.
When the guy brought out the first tray I almost just said No Thank You and wanted to just leave . These were the worst clones I had ever seen . All of them were moisture stressed and sickly .When I complained he said he had a tray that hadn't been hardened off and brought them out . Not much better but def better looking clones .So I picked out the Gurl u see now . I must have bought it Nov I pretty sure . Man I didn't listen to that guy about the hardening off and immidiatly transplanted and left it in open air . Dang what a mistake .What he meant was that that tray of clones was still accustomed to 100% humidity and hadnt been introduced to normal humidity . I went back to check on it and was shocked , it was in full wilt mode ,all the leaves curled up and it just didnt look good .I nursed her back to health in my humidity dome and hardened it off gradually .It didnt grow at all for like 2 weeks .Anyways after all that she looks like a decent plant .These seem to get calcium def easy too , but all those leaves are gone now and it is healthy .Supposed to be 27% THC .

i picked up half 1/8 of blue berry and its so sweet and berry tasting its awesome. im picking some of that up for sure.

I'm into sweet too man , and what I'm finding with Organics is it just makes sweeter pot nomatter what mabey its the molassas IDk . The cure seems to enhance sweetness also . I'm getting low on supply and went out to pick up meds for a patient of mine , found some good looking but average meds . Damn it tasted like cardboard . Glad I,m only keeping an 1/8 for myself . Good high but it just doesn't compare to my meds. I really dont think you will ever find home grown quality in a dispensary . You ever come to Colorado HP ? Oh almost forgot . Going to start Plush Berry today . I'll post pics here and I'm going to start a thread dedicated to the Plush Berry grow. I think it will get alot of traffic.

Sorry coffee has me talkative , I havent even medicated yet lol . You guys know what would be bomb ass , would be if someone would organize a RIU meetup somewhere in a medicinal state . ya thats why i stick to organics bud i mean i bought weed from the club and fuck i never hear in crakling from my shit, sometimes i feel fireworks shooting out of some of this club bud.

but around here you do get good stuff if you pay top shelf. i payed 25 for a half 1/8 of blueberry and it was dank great taste, but still crackled.

but than payed 5 bucks a gram for some other stuff got 5 grams for 25 bucks of sensi skunk outdoor and nugs are huge taste is shit and has some seeds but i think its worth 5 bucks a gram lol get u high as hell though.

so just depends where im from lol but next time im in colorado i will be sending u a PM prior lol

There are many sites that have them IDK which site is trustworthy . For everyone looking for these use the search term " grow through plant support" and a kabillion sites pop up that have them . The manufacturer name on mine is Gardmanusa.com .If you go to that site click on distributers and they have a listing of websites that carry there products . These would probaly be best to use . I never order online so my knowlage of good sites has been limited . But I found an awesome garden supply that's local to me and has a very good website with low prices .These jokers sell a 400w DIY ballast for like 52 dollars ,they are around 90 dollars at an electrical supply house .

Still hanging in there Teyo . I have been slacking on updates , had a weird past week but will be back to better updates now. My seeds have germinated and are about to sprout leaves. Flowering plants are plumping up .The Medibud is doing great . It has bud sites already and is not streaching bad at all ,it's more like it is just growing like a weed . I did notice having to spray so heavy for PM while flowering crusted up some of my lower buds on the Scrogged PE . And I have finally burned my plants . I have been trying to do this on purpose so I know when I'm getting hot on my soil mix . PE burned the worse ,PF not so bad . So I doubt I'm going to get the yields I,m looking for on those 2 plants .They have had fungus gnats, PM, and Over fertilized .

Organic "Hot" Soil Mixes (I credit Sub for my knowlage on the subject)


A hot mix you say? Yess been working on this for a while now and have developed my own hot mix based on a grower who wants to have quality soil with out buying so many different additives up front .Alot of us never have enough money to buy a bunch of different additives at one time ,so this is all based for budget minded growers .As you can see in my last post I burned my plants on purpose to get an idea for my limitations .What we are trying to achieve here is a just add water grow .This is a work in progress so follow at your own risk.

This is for 1 plant mix .Instead of buying all the different organic ingrediants , I'm simply just using organic granular fertlizer at higher doses .FF POM has alot of goodies already in it ,it's a good value .I'm no mathmatician so I'm not doing alot of conversions here . I use a 2 quart container for mixing soil and pearlite .4 soil , 1 pearlite . I use a HD trash bag to mix in , pick it up shake it , mixes well.

Current Mix

Soil - Happy Frog
Pearlite - Fine grade mixed 1 to 4 ratio with soil (ex. 4 cups soil 1 cup pearlite)

10 oz - Fox Farms Peace of Mind 5-5-5 (can be used in veg and flower even #'s)
8 oz - Worm Castings
6 oz - Kelp meal
8 oz - Bat Gauno (High N in veg mix , High PK for flower mix)
2 tbsp -Dolomite lime granular not pellets.

So basically the 5-5-5 is the base then numbers are adjusted with the type of gauno used or more or less worm castings for N . Kelp is added micro nute goodness . Like I said though it's also a work in progress but as you can see it's preety simple and has everything covered any other hot mix has without the cost I just need to tweak it out right on the amounts .I'll post the ingrediant list on POM later and you can see why i use it .

But we are talking about spicing it up to the point of water only , big difference , the bag soil alone only carrys you for 2-3 wks and nutes are minimal . Then in flower you got to load it up to carry all the way through . No liquid nutes added for NPK . Just Liquid Karma and mollasass here and there is what I,m shooting for . Have you read any of Sub's threads?
