hey ladies and gents,
moved my plants last night and bent the main stem ever so slightly. it seeped a bit of water so im guessing the vessel pressure burst the stalk ever so slightly. It almost looks like a stalk after being super cropped (slightly darker green, but still pretty strong and stiff). It wouldn't have phased me in the slightest but before lights out I checked that it was the only plant whose leaves hadn't perked up as typical as during a light cycle. I'm guessing I damaged the plant's water veins.
Is something like this permanent? Will it repair the veins and be OK or is the plant gone? How long would the recovery be if it isn't dead (i.e. when should I trash it?). I was going to treat it as an experiment to see how it goes (surely animals bend plants in the wild and they recover?
Thanks for any info
