hahaha thanks man. but i think i might've put it too low, cause i'm only on 3rd week of 12/12 and i expect a little more vertical stretch. i might have to get some real steaks and lift it up. but yeah you're right now that you mention it, i do hear some faint cheers of homer in the background. good ear. lol.

They both look great guys, they will do you well  Homer, to overcome the placement, you cant try and trace the colas coming through around the top and the sides, or even down from top to bottom.

Oh, you can reuse the perlite and vermiculite just rinse it and try to get as much roots out as possible.

Some huge stems on that thing bro looks nice and love the cage!
thanks. the stem seems to get bigger every few days. i plan to veg the wowo in the cage for another 2-4 weeks. i'm starting to run out of room in my veg box again

that's funny stuff!!!!

the wire steaks i used worked really well. i won't buy them again though, I'll use coat hangers. all i did was bend the post at the height i wanted then slipped the post into the loop of the cage where the chains were attached. then i put a zip tie around the connection to hold it in place, bread ties would work just as well... or duct tape.

Thanks gumball!! I'm gonna try the perlite/vermiculte combo. just don't wanna spend another $30 on rapid rooter plugs.

thanks gumball. would you mind breaking that down a bit for me... what do you mean exactly by trace the colas?

and thanks stoney for the coat hanger tip... i will probably do that just to save me a trip to the hardware store :)

Like DJruiner's crop circle of bud. You can still bend the buds, like you would the stem for LST. So just bend the buds slowly and "trace" or use the metal frame to bend your buds down to in any shape or formation :D If height does in fact become an issue. That help?

edit, i looked back, thought your buds were already longer for some reason. but you can still do it if you want. cause they will get bigger :hump:

So let me get this right; you have flowered and veged, using cfl's. How is this possible. Please help me, I have grew a few plants using CFL lighting, they look just like the ones in the pictures. Can I too flower using just the CFL's. I was under the impression I need the red, and blue spectrum. That is only given by obtaining a $300 light, ballast kit.

you can grow with just cfl's 100%!! for you veg period you want to use CFL's with a color of 6500K daylight (this is the blue spectrum) then when your ready for big fat buds you switch over to CFL's with a color of 2700K soft white(red spectrum) no need for a $300 setup... I got a 6 pack of bulbs for $10. you can find many great deals for cfl lights. on line or on sale at local stores. I do not just flower with CFL's i also have an LED panel to supplement the CFL's. but it is not necessary at all! just cfl's will grow great buds!

here is some rep to get ya started out with...... just for joining in!

thanks man, that does help! so you're saying to basically "train" the buds using the cage or any other structure. i was afraid that further training/lst this late in flowering would be stressful to the plant and reduce yield... but if you say it's good, i'm sure it works, thanks!

i've done it a few times... ihave read from others that you shouldn't but i never lost yield... only gained it!

If you dont mind on your next set of pictures, can you snag one of the LED panel (sorry if you already posted one)

How far do you have to hang it away from the plants and did you notice a good increase in yield/potency?

Thanks for stopping by my grow
+rep for a sick setup/perpetual

Thanks for all the kind words!! I will absolutely take some shots of my panel... I'll try and get some on and off. just give me a day to get em posted... i have a 17 hr work day tomorrow so it might not be till late tomorrow when i get home.... I'll will try to dig up a link to. I have to hang it at least 8-10" away if i don't it will burn/bleach them. it doesn't burn them from heat but instead from light intensity. or it will bleach the buds here is a pic of one that was to close.

the only comparison i have is two close friends that also grow the exact same DNA. one has a 1000 watt HPS and the other has a 400W HPS. I beat them both in potency by a long shot. i get about 7-10 grams more yield than the 400w per plant. but about 7-10 grams less yield that the 1000W per plant. the 400W grows 8 at a time. the 1000w grows 21 at a time. I grow about 10 at a time. and we all grow a little bit different styles to.

this is the best comparison i can give. there are so many variables within all that mess. the MFG tells me my LED is compared to a 400W HPS. i don't believe it.

for physical pain especially from nerve disorders pitbull is the best, I have a bagseed from the strain I am considering growing too especially after keith mentioned that they apparently are doing the same thing as the breeder of Pineapple kush if they are attempting to hold a trade right upon the strain and now I need to research this more because if such is true (I don't know I only met a breeder who helped create the strain once at a hempfest and it was more of a hello) then I feel a need to acquire the genetics and pass it around for free to any patient I know. Patenting or trying to hold rights to a strain is understandable in a capitalist market but this is medicine this is about a better life not about paper.

Loving the dollar tree hat, if it weren't for the fact I prefer SOG growing I would give it a try myself.

Damn Stoney, that whole top inch got bleached like that from a LED panel!!

On another note, it must be pretty cool to have a collective of growing buddies locally :D Are you in a legal state Stoney, or do you do like me, legalization begins in your house and extends outward

I don't know about stoney, but that's how it is with me. I might be moving in with 3 close friends and teaching them what I know so we can all smoke for free all the time in our big-ass house.

yes, hippy that is a sad shame. we see it even within our current health system in our country. greed is just and evil thing!

yea, it bleached a lot. and this was the second one i bleached. the first one was worse. it was my very first indoor grow and it was bagseed and i thought wow, this is crazy it's all white!! the second grow was good genetics(the photo) then i thought no, this has to be something I'm doing.... then i figured it out when i raised the light...

and yes, it is awesome with the local growers. i can trust them with my life and they have a lot more experience than me so i people to turn to person to person.... don't always go with there suggestion though... i always bounce it off RIU first.... i am like you though... legalization starts in my home and seems to follow me around. hahaha when it does become legal you guys gotta come hang out at the SPAWR. Stoneys Plantation And Wellness Retreat. it will be a see of green houses!

I don't have any roommates but i do have very close friends that i trust very much.

the LED doesn't put out heat but it can "burn" the plant in a sense from the intensity of the light.

nice bro, looking great!!
thanks man that was the second plant i ever grew and i smoked her a long time ago.... she was my first GOOD genetics so it was a very memorable plant to smoke!
