10 days old... couple questions!!

Ok my plant is about 10 days old... she is under 4 26 w 6500k cfls. I have been struggling with a small stem most of the 10 days. added dirt several times to stand her up. She is planted in a clear plastic cup and I can see the roots around all sides of the bottom.

1. how does she look?
2. how can I get her to stand up straight?
3. I was going to wait and repot at 14 days... should I just do it now? I JUST watered her

first off nice little grow man but I would say get a bigger pot atleast 30ltrs also you need a fan the breeze from the fan strengthens up the stem you should have one from the start but one there now and she'll soon strengthen up man good luck :bigjoint:

thanks I didn't even think about covering the plastic! hope that didn't damage it any. I have a fan but you can't see it in the pics. Its a little lower than the height of the plant... I'm gonna try to reposition it to help the stem. Thanks for the help! I'm gonna repot today.

should I repot right before/during or after the 6 hour dark period?.... if it even matters

This is my first grow and I want her to be healthy :)

It doesnt really matter but I find it easyier just as you turn your lights on :mrgreen:

Re-pot and bury more of the stem to get it to stand up straight. You have the light directly over the plant? Looks like its doing a little stretch to get to the light source.

Lights are in the shape of a K. plant is directly in the center. Could it have picked 1 bulb go favor growing towards? is that possible?

I wouldn't repot until I got a stronger stem and she was less stressed. Just use a fan to strengthen the stem and place the lights directly over where the stem fist comes out of the soil.

U can stick a splint in there and tie loosely to it that will help support the stem, and make sure ur lights are 1-2 inches away from the top of the plant. Good luck!

Ok I repotted her and changed my setup to get more wind on her. That was done saturday around 10. So about 41 hours ago, she looks a little better now. Thanks for the ideas!

Plant looks good. New growth looks good
pls wait to transplant until the plant is a little more potbound. Just before you transplant water well and turn the pot over as the little stem rests between your middle and forefinger. It will fal in the palm of your hand. Have the new mix already.
Simply up pot and water in. Making sure the plant is just at or just below the old soil line it was at
