Thanks man, yeah heavy lst in a pc is needed for the bigger yields in PC cases and I had a tall pc case so that helped with allowing the plant to stretch in flower.. I wanna go bigger though lol..

Yeah I know, I started off with one Kessil LED, bought another, then I ordered the 200 watt CFL. I just ordered a 600 watt HPS a couple days ago too.
Next on my list is a 4' 4light flourecent veg setup & some portable AC. Time to kick it up a notch.
That's it for now, I can't get too carried away.

If you expand operations, what's going to be your ideal setup?

That veg light is the one I want also, next on my list as is another 1000watt
Than my personal dream setup will be complete.

Thats not too far off bro. It'll sure be nice once your done, the mobile 2400 watt power plant!!! The best part is you don't have to redo your op when you move...you just move your whole op.
Speaking of that, are you going to move the grow shed? Or are you building a grow garage with those plans that you showed me awhile back?

My main concern is buying a house now. I want an established grow in an owned house so it calms my nerves a bit. Plus I've been renting for like 5 years, which is like 50k wasted out of my pocket. What sucks is I have no saved $. I got my college degree about a year in a half ago and a week after I graduated I bought the business I've been managing for the past 5 years. DEBT after DEBT...but its dwindling. I'm still waiting on that contract I submitted 2 months ago. Gone back for a second interview & everything seems to be looking solid. Their taking forever to decide though. Thats what I get get for puttin in a gov bid. If I get this contract, I'll have a house in know time :)

Starburst, A lil over 4 weeks flower
3-04-11 006.jpg

Moved the two other clones into flower, running out of space in veg.
3-04-11 005.jpg3-04-11 004.jpg

Left: Starburst Clone (propagation dome)
Just planted Cinderella 99, she rooted.
Two far right: OG Kush
The other two are SLH
They really need to be transplanted badly, I'll do it tonight.
All got their first dose of diluted liquid light this morning, they responded well.
3-04-11 003.jpg

Pots are ready, and what a pain in the ass; next time I'm going with 3 gallon smart pots.
3-04-11 007.jpg

Theres a light in my closet/flower room so I pulled it all apart moved the insullation away and aaaahhhhh shit.....I now have ventilation for my 600 watter.
I still have a lot of work to do but this solves my biggest issue.
3-04-11 001.jpg3-04-11 002.jpg

The light package comes in monday, so I'll set up the duct work this weekend.
Still need to buy a portable AC unit; I'm prob going to go with LG's 9000 BTU; friggin 300 bucks but It'll help cool off my upstairs so I don't feel so bad dumping more $.
It's going to get hot here quick so I can't mess around; the highs here get around 115 degrees normally in the dead of summer.
I'm also looking into a inline fan so I can exhaust the hot air from the lamp/reflector.
I'll prob get that & a Horti bulb from my local hydro store this weekend. Things are coming together

how big is that hole?im wondering what size ducting youll be workin with. did u get a batwing reflector? or is it air cooled? if its batwing, id put then end of the ducting right up to the end of the reflector. hopefully the heat wont be able to go down to the plants.

what about smell? wont the attic fill up with the smell of weed? is it a house that your renting, or is it an apartment with other buildings attached?

also, if youve got the vertical space.... grab some 5 gallon lowes buckets. theyre very strong and hold a ton of soil. my girls blew up when i transplanted to the buckets. plus theyre very easy to move around. the hardest part is finding trays that fit them lol. i also used stuff called "plant success granular" for beneficial bacteria. seems to work well with my mollasses

Got some new lights
This makes things so much easier.
4' T8's & I'm running all 4 6500K
As you can see I also transplanted the girls into their air pots.
3-05-11 001.jpg3-05-11 002.jpg3-05-11 006.jpg

I rigged it on a chain so I can raise/lower it according to the plants.
3-05-11 005.jpg3-05-11 007.jpg

This is temporary so please don't laugh.
I have the ionozer/O3 generator on right next to the fan that blows some air into the exhaust duct.
It blows through it well but I still have to buy a 400cfm inline fan once my reflector arrives.
3-05-11 008.jpg3-05-11 004.jpg
The main exhaust tube running to the attic is 4'' (I couldn't go bigger)
I picked up some 4'' duct that'll run from both reflector & portable AC.
The inline fan will be after the split.
......Theres still alot of work but it's coming together.
What you see now will be reconfigured within the next week.

Here's the ballast just waitin to be fired up.

Thanks for stoppin by.

The hole is 4'', it's all I could do without tearing alot of shit up.
I got Hydrofarms Daystar AC reflector 6'' so I'll run 6'' duct to an inline fan (6'' 400cfm) then to the reduced 4'' outlet.
The smell: I have an ionizer/o3 generator that'll cover up anything. It smells weird but once you mix it in with the attic air it'll be fine. It'll be set on the timer so once the lights come on the fan and ionizer will to.
The 5 gallon is to big for me, I'm actually thinking of using the 3 gallon smart pots next round & see what happens.
I'll also have to check out that "plant success granular", sounds interesting.
Thanks Luger187

I've been looking around and this really caught my eye for the price.
We'll see how long it lasts.
It rocks 4 32 watt tubes which has already made my girls perk up. I think this will help out my veg time and allow for some nice full plants. It fits my 4 air pots perfectly too, I couldn't be happier.
It also works well with my timer (kicks on and off with no resetting), so I am really liking this so far.
Here is the exact model brother:

I call this one Ol Scraggly because of obvious reasons.
She filled in a little but i'll chop her next week & probably make kief out of her.
3-06-11 001.jpg

Bent all the girls down late yesterday afternoon with some wire
The Best looking plant so far is Reserva Privada's OG Kush
~Nice broad leaves~
3-06-11 016.jpg

Green House Seed's Super Lemon Haze
3-06-11 017.jpg

They've all recovered very nicely after the LST.
I'm going to be doing alot more training & experimenting with these girls.
3-06-11 018.jpg3-06-11 015.jpg3-06-11 014.jpg

The Starburst clones that I vegged longer than normally are really taking off.
I'm also slowly giving them more Bloombastic each week.
I can't wait to get these girls under the 600 HPS, the buds are going to get huge.
3-06-11 004.jpg3-06-11 003.jpg3-06-11 002.jpg

The buds from last round (not all of em)
Strain: I call her Starburst
Letting the plant go to 12 weeks was worth the wait.
The high is very strong & it lasts......thats why I keep this strain cause it's bomb diggity!
The buds have a real intense tropical aroma once you start breaking them apart.
The smoke is even better, and it's always smooth.
3-06-11 012.jpg3-06-11 011.jpg3-06-11 013.jpg

Starburst cutting that will need transplanting soon.
3-06-11 020.jpg

The newest addition to the family
~C99 Hybrid~
3-06-11 019.jpg
This was a freebie so I'm not getting my hopes to high.
Attitudes description:
The C’99 is the holy grail of the cannabis strains. As she resembles the high and the taste of a sweet landrace sativa, which normally takes half a year to flower. But the C99 flowers in 7 - 8 weeks.

I'm loving the idea of a 7-8 week flower time. Hopefully all my girls are girls & I don't get a hermi problem. only time will tell.

I'm also looking into a good inline fan which i would appreciate some input on.
My current closet & future grow room will be around 200sq ft, so I'm trying to decide which size fan to buy.
I'm going to be using 4'' insulated ducting that'll only have one bend per ducting.
The portable AC unit will act as a fan also when it exhausts the hot air.

So my question is can I get the Active Air 165cfm fan & not have an heat issue.
I just think the 400cfm might be overkill, and it might suck all the ac right out of the room. I'll have a 9000 BTU AC unit right on the 600 watt HPS so the cold air will flow over the bulb and be exhausted out.
What kind and size inline fan should I use?
Any input is appreciated
This is what it'll look like completed for your reference.
