thanks bro! I tell you though, i am very humbled with ya'll's work! Great work all around.
Holy SHNKEEZ! I just did Frank the Tank at my computer after looking at those pics, brother! Nice effin' job man... seriously good.

I'm intrigued... I'm using roots with GO line as well. I've got a couple minor differences, but more or less the same concoction, it sounds like. How often are you feeding your plants? And that said, how often you watering? :peace: bongsmilie

@ GG "I am starting a new season and thinking about going veganics."

And by the way, GG, you should totally do it!

hey bobo, i take four bags of roots regular, 1 large bag of farfard 3-b professional, 30 lbs of EWC, 2.2 lbs indonisian guano, 2.5 lbs of old age root rally with Mike and bennies, then 2 lbs of this stuff called tomato tone by epsoma, it is a 3-4-6 with 6% cal and sulfer and mag....plus it is loaded with bennies, then some azomite for trace minerals, and finally some dolomite for buffer and extra cal and mag. mixxy, mixxy.......then into 5 gal buckets at the time of switch. water only for two-three weeks......then feed lightly with G.O Bloom, Bio-Bud, and Cal/Mag. Then finally add sucanat at week six, and just water last two weeks. Sounds like a lot, but it is really quite simple. I don't claim to be a pro, but it seems to work for me, and very, very trouble free. The total price for 60 gallons mixed soil (without the liquid nutes, which last a long time) is around $150.00 which i think is pretty reasonable.

Thanks Nugs. That sounds like a good mixture-- I'd never thought about mixing more good stuff into the roots... smart smart smart.

I kind of look at it like this.....roots is a good base, there is three cubic feet of fill will nothing in it (farfard 3-B), then just re-adding the goodies to heat it back up. i like the big load of castings for a little N, and increasing water holding ability (not to mention all the live goodies), then just a concentration of bennies and mike to livin' the mix up even more....throw in a bit more guano for good measure, and make sure there is plenty of Cal.....which i consider a macro nute......thats my logic anyway.....follow my grow in my sig...would love to have you guys along for the ride....Peace, Nugs

If you want some really good reading google the relationship between myco's, rhizobium and glomulin. the short version.... the mycos have a symbiotic relationship with the roots... the rhizobium help fix bi0-available nitrogen to the roots... when you add humic acid to the soil the electron imbalance aids the root / nutrient transfer and one of the benefical by products is glomulin( kind of like and organic binding agent)... the glomulin binds microscopic particles together and they become slightly bigger particles which is a great benefit to mycos and roots to grow in.... I know this is really simplified but that is it in a nutshell.... this soil also then has better water retention.... hope this helps.... Peace Love Happiness

yes understanding the soil food web is an important part of the organic grow. we arent just dumping nutrients at any given time anymore.
