I live in Canon City, and am able to grow for patients as far as Pueblo and the Springs. Contact me here if you or someone you know would like to have someone grow for you. For each batch of plants I grow in your name, you will receive an ounce per plant free, and additional medicine will be provided at better than dispensary prices. leave a private message with contact info and I'll get right back to you. I deliver free to all my patients.
I think you better wait on taking on patients.
HB 1284 has a stipulation in it that states 'Colorado Department of Health will have the right to define what a Caregiver's duties are'.
Colorado Department of Health has always stated that the definition is more than just growing MMJ for the patient. Now they can define 'Caregiver'.
I have been on websites trying to get people to recognize what Colorado Department of Health wants to do! (and is now going to do).
California has already past their definition, and I expect Colorado's definition is going to be close to it.

This site explains what will most likely happen here in Colorado.
You will not have time to care for 1 patient, much less 5 patients when Colorado Dept. of Health defines 'Caregiver'.
The attorneys and patients just let this go un-noticed throughout the bill negotiations. No one would wake up and smell the bacon!
