Do you really want to wait 8 - 9 months before you smoke her? Will you have sufficient lighting for a plant that size? In this time frame you could do a couple crops with good yeild.. so is it worth it?

I woun't let it grow in veg for 6 months but maybe a little longer then nomal. Thats one of the good things about growing inside. You control the cycles.

i just basicly wanted to make sure i couldn't flower too late :].

seriously, don't veg it too long. just take some clones, let her rest a bit and then throw that bitch in to flower...unless you have a per plant limit. something I'll be contending with soon.

Yeah i think it would be worth it... just get like 10 CFL's to go around the lowerleafs 10 45w CFL's has like 20,000 lumens? or somthing i dont know exactly but more then enough.
but i use 1000watt mh/HPS Conversion works like a charm... and with 20 plants, if you have 10 45w warm light cfls around the lower growth it will be more then enough you could make a lot of bud and a hudge plant.

Okay, 10 45w CFL's would be about 29,000 lumens. Thats 10 CFL's that you would have to move daily. Thats 10 X $15.00 each plus all the sockets and reflectors = $$$$$$. Thats 10 X 45w = 450w, in this case a 400w HPS(55,000 lumens) would be much better. Plus with CFL's you won't get the tight dense resiny buds like you will get with HPS. Another thing.. why would you want to vegg a plant loger then you should? You run a higher risk of mistakes, bugs, mold, ect, you could do a a few good crops in that time.

Great idea.. but it will keep vegging outside until the days start getting shorter.. you might end up with a 15 - 20' plant.

I agree the 1000watter will do the trick, but the 10 CFL's are just a waste of time if you ask me.. with all that money you spent on 10 CFL's + sockets and reflectors, you could have invested in some better lighting. Just my 2cent tho.

i was considering having some converted mh going horizontally around the walls for side lighting while having the high pressure sodiums hanging from the ceiling, thought mixing the two lights like this could give some amazing results.

I think that would be a fucking awesome idea mate.. make them tall and fat.. dont hps in veg make them fat and MH make them grow.. and root growth... but both would be awesome this is something im going to try
