I just finished watching 1408, that newer Stephen King movie. It was pretty messed up, I am about to watch it over just to make sure I understand everything that happened. For those of you that like a suspensful horror, I recommend watching this one.

For me almost all Stephen King movies are good to watched stoned, they are so messed up. I never read any of his books, I'm not much of a book reader but if they are anything like the movies, I'm sure there great. So check out the movie is a good one. I will include the preview and then the whole movie, just seen you can watch the movie on youtube.

read the book, very different. both are good.

the books always blow the movies out of the water.... just take so long to finish lol

This movies pretty old.




I read his book thinner and it was good.a lot better then I expected.The movie on it sucked.

Went to the theater to see this movie when it came out. I thought it was lame then, as I recall.

I liked this movie alot! had no idea it was a stephen king movie though, If so, then it was by far one of his better movies as far as kings movies go lol. Anyone ever see the Langolears? now THAT was a retarded movie haha

im pretty sure I saw that.I was high as hell one day going through channels and saw a movie call land of the langoliers or something lol,I had to watch it.I was laughing throughout the whole movie at how stupid it was.

1408 is a novella, not a full novel. I have it in a large book of many of his short stories. It was a great story I recommend it. The movie was also fun to watch! Stephen King has quite the imagination...

My favorites are 'The Shining" (book and movie); 'Pet Cementary' (book and movie); and I also like his other title called "Cujo" (the book). You guys remember 'Cujo' don't you??!? I remember reading that one in the 5th grade.. scared the shit out of me back then. But, hell.. that was 19 years ago.. lol. I was just a kid back then of course.. so yeah that one frightened me but I still loved to read it. Was a thriller!!!

I really enjoyed SK's The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger

It's not really horror, it is his stab at a western type thriller story that I found truly amazing when i first read it, many years ago.

The second time I watched it, it had a diff. ending...I guess it was the Directors cut or something...but it wasnt one of those alternate endings that you can chose, thewre are actually two versions out there...both are great, but he dies at the end of one of them and the other he goes on to live with his wife...oops, hope I didn't ruin it for ya...lol

I hated the movie Cujo, not my type. I do enjoy most of his movies/tv specials, The Perfect Storn, Missery, IT, Secret Window, The Dead Zone, The Green Mile, Apt Pupil, Maximum Overdrive, The Night Flyer, The Shinning, The Shawshank Redempition, Needful Things, Pet Semetary, Sometimes They Come Back, Firestarter, Children of the Corn, Creepshow, Salems Lot, Carrie. I never have read any books though and doubt I will, well maybe one day if I end up in jail like some have, then maybe, but i do not see that happening in the near future.

I still havent seen The Mist, think thats his newest one. The previews didnt intrest me to much but Im sure ill have to give it a try.
