Spidermites all over roots in aeroponics

Need experienced help here..... Got a bad batch of clones that had spidermites, so I cleaned them up wiyh neem and no problem, but, checking roots the other day I noticed spidermites all over the roots.... I mean all over, tons of them.... Some actually the size of prdator mites.... They are not gnats and they are not root aphids.... I have been growing for many years and know the difference... Does anybody have any experience here or know of a way to treat the roots without damage..... Was thinking about dropping the water temp way down to see if that will work.... Please help if you have any ideas.... These things are multiplying like I have never seen before

Spider mites on the roots? Number one, they can't handle much humidity. Number two, I would think your sprayers would keep the bastards off of the roots....

I'm not saying you aren't telling the truth, it is just hard to fathom. Can you get us any pictures?

lol.... once in awhile... Yeah, pests are pests and having a root invasion of anything can't be good. Good point! :) +REP

serapis, do you ever sign off?? haha jk, I agree with you on this, but regardless of what they are he should hit them up with everything.

I'm with this guy....especially if they are in aeroponics, just dip the plants and be done with it... I'm dying to see these mites though...

I bet they're not mites at all and instead root aphids. These little fuckers attach
themselves to the roots and suck food from the roots and slow plant growth and
can eventually cause deficiencies and root rot from low health. Do they look like
this?

If you're not too far along, a dip should help keep things healthy, if the infestation is too severe
it might be easier to simply start over as your plants are probably deteriorating and to kill off an
infection you need to get 100% otherwise it'll just keep coming back.

has anyone had nightmares of roots aphids?? I swear if you've ever had these you'll have nightmares about them, i didn't even click on dispos's picture....
