Yes dude i always fill my water tank up and leave it to stand uncovered for 3 days that evaporates most of the chlorine used to clean the water. Then adjust the ph down to 5.8 (the ph will slowly rise naturally) leave it for 24 hours check the ph level (adjust if needed) and you have some stable ph'd water ready to germ those beans.

Got some SLH going right now. All 5 popped, but one was a weakling so I killed it. Had some Arjan Haze 3 last spring. Got 10 seeds and 9 popped.
I'm glad you got the refund from the seedbank, and if they're getting multiple complaints then that's legit info you're bringing to the table. I'm sceptical about somebody claiming to have "researched" internet forums, though. There are so many growers on these places with various degrees of ability that you can't really tell if it is their fault or the seeds. I find that there are a lot of GHS bandwagon bashers out there. Somebody hears some soap opera bullshit about Arjan doing this or that (usually being a douchey businessman), and then all the self-righteous people living in thier glass houses start to pile on.
Anyway, I think if you research the comments on this thread, you'll find the 60/40 against/for split is not even close to that. More like 10\90 against/for.
ps. My two 1970 Honda Ct 70s are still going strong, so Honda can't be all that bad.

Just for the record...seeds dont need pH'd water. The reason we pH water is to ensure nutrient uptake, seeds have no roots and seedlings generally contain all the nutrients they need for that first stage of life so they dont really need pH'd water until they're above ground and starting to grow. Just so people know.

well, my 2 cents. I have started 30 GHS (Church, Big Bang, and SLH) and 28 of them germinated. Maybe I had a lucky experience with them. I don't know, but 1 of those cracked and I think it was me who fucked it up, so really 29 of 30 germinated. Hard to say, but I do know I have had good experiences with them. I hear the people with worries and bad experiences, honestly I may really think twice before ordering again. Hard to say, cheap seeds are a risk to begin with. I just hope I get two really great mothers from my plants.

i'm growing out their super silver haze right now. one of my favorite genetics. a friend just grew out some of greenhouse's feminized and i believe has just germinated some super lemon haze (i see a lot of people have this genetic) that he bought recently. he's around here somewhere.
it's too bad you had a bad experience with them. there are some shady seed sellers out there but they aren't one of them. one bad post costs them a lot more then it would cost to sell you viable seeds.

I understand that. But if you look through this thread you will notice a lot of the people using GHS seeds have been growing Super Lemon & Silver Haze with amazing results.
I also understand your point regarding the distributor however the dist i use are very good and i have never had a problem with any other seeds i have received from them (only 3 seeds have remained uncracked after 7 days and that is from 10 other strains with up to 6 seeds per strain)
My main issue is the time i have wasted and i am sure those who are in strictly goverened areas regarding growing would appreciate this.

You have said same method on all 3 batches of Church seeds along with the other strains. The others germed but the Churches did not. All 3 times correct? Yet after the 1st and 2nd failure you used the SAME method yet again and failed. Off to the computer to blame GHS. Did you ever stop to think maybe the strain called Church may not be responding to your method? Fuck no. Not my fault. Gotta be GHS. Guess what? Some beans take less and some take more moisture to trigger the germ. And the fact is this is your failure, not GHS.
