TR - great update - looks good... and don't worry - I burnt a whole tent full of plants when my 12/12 timer got kicked to "always on" for 48+hours..... you'll be fine.

Yikes, i feel for you on that one. Three of my four have mild to moderate heat damage, fortunately there's some really dense sticky buds to go with it.

now i KNOW that you are getting super excited! woo hoo!!!!!!!!

This strain is supposed to take 7-9 weeks to flower, and its seven weeks today!!! I'm seriously considering taking a sample to see how things are going... maybe here in about an hour... huummmm

I've seen pictures of this happening before but never knew if it was a photoshop special or not.... now i know it does happen. I clipped this leaf before it was all the way out of commission. There is at least one more.

One of the 4 plants is ready to go in the next couple days, I think... the others might have around a week. The sample got smoked last night, and is being finished right now... it looks good, smells good, taste good, feels sticky, and has a balmy stone... I would be 100% happy about this grow if I had just not burned 3/4 of them a little/lot.

This isn't the same plant but this one is the crispiest of them all so I decided to take a nice sized sample, this one is the furthest along but they (including this one) need just a little longer, I think.

I really see now why this bud gets such a bad rep for being so stinky. You know how weed smells bad but to a point that its good? Sort of an association of dank weed and that skunky smell that lets you know right away that this particular plant has a potential edge. (I say potential because good smell doesn't necessarily constitute good stone.) I can make the distinction. Don't get me wrong.
This cannabis that I've grown, smells bad... to a point that it smells good, and then goes so far as to start smelling bad yet again... it fuckin stinks people... I can't wait to give you some of the reactions from my people.

I just took a quite wet hit from my sample, after I was already high.... and damn. I'm so happy with this grow. We did a fine job this time people. But there's always room for improvement...


PS ~ Edit: Ohh my gooosh, 2 hits and I'm about to chop cola #2, this stuff is ready.

PPS ~ I had to do it, several more trimmed samples... and these are just samples!!!! (and the little guy that I enjoyed a small part of tonight !!!!

Sorry about the lack of updates recently, I've been holding out on you because harvest is so close... the samples I've been able to, well, sample to the fullest now... and let me say. This is it. I can pat myself on the back for this one. I didn't do perfect with all of them, and part of that was just up to chance.... but I learned, and I learned a lot... and gosh darn it, I got some nice and sticky buds. Some potent, stinky, sticky, wonderful tasting buds with a high that is AAA.

Here. more crispy leaves then I'd like at this point but the buds are so close to ripe I'll sacrifice cutting all the leaf off to get the blossoms just right.

Maybe a few more days on some of them, which is nice, I won't get a good chance to do any trimming until probably Monday anyway.

Thanks Barbie! The plan as of now is to start chopping on Monday morning. Hopefully I'll get a few other mornings that I'll be able to spend some time trimming and have these girls all trimmed up in time to jar them for curing.
Wanna hear something hilarious?!? I need to stop smoking long enough to clean my system out for a piss test! Meaning I'm about to pick and cure about 10 ounces of killer smoke and I can't even enjoy any of it while I chop and trim and wait! lol

Ohh well, not a problem except for temptations sake. Thankfully, praise the Lord, I'm not a medical patient that needs this cannabis to deal with day to day life. Though I'm sure I could present a pretty good case to an open enough audience. It's cold turkey from right now until the end of April.

I can't even imagine how high I'll get after not smoking for 30 days and then coming back to this stuff.... WOW. More pics when chopping begins...

I know, this stuff is already a one hitter to someone like me that smokes 2-3 times a day on norm... so I'm going to have to wade back into this ak-48, the hardest part is going to be staying away from the Special Kush #1, its been my favorite though this whole grow and it is still the most picture perfect of the four plants. Up until a couple days ago I have been smoking on the samples for the ak-48 but the SK#1 has yet to be sampled. The anticipation!

Temps while finishing up were usually around between 70 and the low 80's... things warmed up around here. Tonight temps are up around 88... a particularly hot night. It's a good thing this grow is over.... tomorrow I'm going to be very busy. I hope to have all four of these plants at least turned upside down and drying by early tomorrow morning, I am going to trim every leaf off and save it unless it's totally crispy and make either cannabutter or bubble hash out of it... this won't happen overnight though.... I'm going to go scrub my snips because they are saturated with resin after just trimming the few samples I've taken from the most ripe plant. Ohh my gosh, here comes the best harvest yet from my garden. Thank you Lord for letting me bring these fine plants this far along. I pray they bring me many days of relaxation and ease when the time is appropriate... this is my cannabis until next years season. The Lord giveth, and I smoketh away... I'll report back tomorrow!!!

Ok, here's where I stand.... On Monday morning I began chopping... and I chopped and chopped until I had an interruption that was important enough to cause me to only get though with two plants and all but one final cut on the third. One plant had to remain potted for another twelve or so hours before I brought her down with the rest... so I started Monday morning and finished up that night. I still have a ton of trimming left to do. I'm going to spend a little time (if any is available) every night and morning taking off the rest, all the major fan leaves are gone but the tedious little stuff all still remains. It is gorgeous. I'm very happy to get it all finished and so excited to really try it out. One of my AK-48s even took on some purple (slightly). Smells great, looks great, happy man right here folks, this is what its all about. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be able to start jarring all the lesser buds because they'll get dry first. The biggest single bud is about the circumference of a coke can. I'll eventually have some pics once I get some more detailed trimming finished. I'm pretty sure I'll have at least 2.5 ounces off every plant if not up to three or four on at least one or two of them.
