My wife is in the Service and this fucking disgusts me! We have soldiers over in a pointless war that we are spending billions of dollars on and we can't even afford to pay the soldiers that are laying their lives on the line!

Yeah I served to, and one year my wife only spent like 75 days home the whole fucking year! Not to mention our men over at war that are pulling 3 years over there living in shitty conditions risking their lives! The very very LEAST the government can do is make sure they get paid and their families can pay the fucking rent!

Yeah I don't think most people know how little the government respects their soldiers. It is funny because these congress men always talk about our soldiers this or that and how much they care yet they don't care if they get paid because they can't put aside their political agendas! When I was on the boat loading food down to the freezers on some boxes of meat it said " Not for human consumpsion"!!! They have always treated our troops like shit and now they may not even be able to pay them! Just sad, I have to go tend some plants guys gotta keep that bud rolling in!

I hope I wont need them but I have a Colt AR-15, Norinco SKS, and a few other guns. I will be ready if it ever does come to that but I seriously dobt it will. I garantee you one thing that American soldiers will NOT fire on us! They know that while they are pointing a gun at someones mother or sister another soldier may be doing the same to their mother or sister!

This is so fucking absurd it makes me sick. All the money that we as a country waste. Hopefully this dosent affect GI bill payments. It goes to show how highly the leadership of this country think of us. "we can just stop paying the million or so people specificly trained in the art of warfare, and still expect them to go to work and put it on the line for us". Im not the doom and gloom type of person, really seems like shit is super fucked up lately. or maybe im just noticing it now i dunno

Thanks to you and everyone that read this! I thought the people should see first hand from the Navy Times what our government is up to and this shows you all that they don't give two shits about our soldiers! If they don't care about the people giving their lives how much do you think they care about the rest of us? I don't want to sound to crazy but do you guys really think the government is above 9/11? I don't put it past the government doing that to its own people to make money. But that is a different discussion, I am more worried about getting our troops paid!

It is what it is, a good old case of big brother doing as they please! Probably people locking up the vote on the budget to make sure that their special intrests get approved, so on the way out they will get their payday! Nothing like hanging out our troops and their families, I will be fine but I would guess that over 60% of military families are living paycheck to paycheck and this will royaly fuck them!

Never had a problem with pay besides it not being enough. I feel for the families who RELY on this pay to feed and clothe themselves. All our politicians cafe about is war profiteering plain and simple. Time to redistribute the wealth..

Oh man there are so many stories like that about the military! I guess we should have joined the peace corps! LOL they will solve all the worlds problems!
