Well, i've been promising an update for a while now. I just took a bunch of pics, and sorted through the shitty ones to come up with a couple decent ones here, and I got them all out of order, but I don't care because it all looks good to me! I noticed last night that they were looking a little yellow, and pretty thirsty, but i was lazy and went to sleep. So after I took these pics I just flushed each with a gallon of water, pH'd the runoff and it was at 7 So we'll see if that had a nice effect. I've been thinking lately that the girls are extra thirsty, so I'm gonna increase the rate of their waterings starting tonight since I flushed. Other than that, I'm happy. I mean, my girls here are 6 weeks into 12/12 today, so a little yellowing is normal and I'm not gonna worry about it. Happy with the flush and it'll help my girls absorb their food nicely once or twice more before their final pre-harvest flush. So without further ado...

Haha right on dude! Righty's cola is pic 4 and pic 6 I believe...and if you look real close, some of Righty's leaves are purpling around the edges...I dunno if thats a deficiency or if it's just a trait of this bud, but we'll see in the next few weeks as they finish up if it becomes more pronounced...Thanks for the kind words, bro, it's great having friends on RIU to grow with!

Also, I just put 5 seeds in paper to germ, 4 more of the humboldt seeds I have in the DWC, and 1 seed my lady found in a sack of shake she bought from one of the better dispensaries around us...Hope it pops cause no matter what strain it is, it'll probably rock!

i see the tiny strips of purple near the edges, and my thought is that it's just part of the pheno. i could be wrong of course... but it doesn't look like the "dark green" that i'm seeing in my amnesia that i'm interpreting as phosphorous deficiency. nah, i'd say your girls are super healthy, maybe a tiny bit of nitrogen would help with the yellowing bottom leaves, but other than that, as long as the buds are plumping (and they are), you're golden.

Haha, still working with these humboldt outdoor bagseeds, the same as in the DWC...for now I think they're staying indoors, but I might have to re-vamp the grow room to make 'em fit....Yeah, thats right folks, when Meta has too many plants he doesn't get rid of them, he re-builds his grow area harder better faster stronger!

So I DID buy some more 2.5 gallon pots, 4 more to be precise. The 2 seedlings I just transplanted into the same 2.5 gallon pots, and with 4 more in there the veg tent might be a little more crowded, but since the DWC is going into flower on saturday, I just figured my seedlings needed company...

The thought of an empty-ish veg tent scared me, and I got out the paper towels and popped in the 5 to germ...The one exception is the seed my lady found in a sack of shake from the dispensary; that one might go outside because I know their genetics is legit. I don't ever wanna be caught up without plants in all stages of growth, I just need to make spreadsheets to print out so I can keep up with everything. I have 2 calanders now, and it's already too crowded for all the plants I have going. Man, I love growing!

Dollar Tree is the way to go! 2.5 gallon pots fer a buck a piece, yes please! Haha, I almost bought some potting soil they were selling in .5 cubic foot bags, then I remembered the fungus gnats I had that one time(at band camp) and got cold feet...But on second thought I think I'm gonna go back and give it a try as a base soil to mix some shit into.

Haha, yeah, I'll stick to the Kellogg Patio+ for now, since I can't start any new DWC projects till fall...Too damn hot for deep water culture in summer...And you know what? I was checking out my pots that I bought at the Dollar Tree and right there on the bottom of the pots I saw those magic words "MADE IN THE U.S.A" I fucking love you, dollar tree...No cancer causing lead infused cheap child labor chinese pots for me!!

I just tossed my Dollar Store plastic gardening set! LOL 1 small hole dug through saturated soil and it snapped. LOL That's what I get for leaving my good one outside over the winter and it was taken by the lawn.

I just had an image of you going off on the little plastic spade who couldn't, jumping up and down in the yard, screaming and flailing your arms, literally made me lol...Yeah, dollar stores are a real game of deciphering the tiny caches of treasure amongst the heaps of trash...but a great resource nonetheless! I make trips to the dollar tree and 99 cent only stores on a regular basis...mostly to wander and let the multitude of crap they sell there stimulate my mind, since i'm always looking to improve my grow...As cheap as possible, haha, if I had 1k to drop on a grow things would be a little different...lol
