60, always. I'm not sure if you thing I'm lowballing it or what. But when you are a grower just trying to get rid of his excess shit you definitely sell at wholesale prices.for real?
what do you pay for an 1/8th?
sup MN growers! with spring right around the corner its going to bring another harvest in fall, which excites the fuck outta me...last year was the first year that i had a successfull outdoor grow...grew a couple different strains, trainwreck, white skunk, ak-48(non auto) super-haze, afghan kush, church, g-bomb, i had 21 plants to begin the summer with, ended up with like 12-14 cant remember, shit was some fucking bomb ass weed tho, i was very surprised...considering it had beans in some of it the potency was amazing, stanky stinky buds DAMN fuck yeah, N now this year i get to take all these beans and replant them and get MORE haha!!! couple questions for you MN growers, what do you go in? buckets? bags? straight earth? i found the 3 gal grow bags i had sitting around my crib worked great outdoors but my plants didnt produce more than a zip...would it be worth buyin some 30 gal grow bags??!?!
IMO three feet is a little excessively deep and you're gonna just end up paying more for soil. I'd say about 16 inches is all the deeper you would ever need it. I do agree though, that in-the-ground beats in a pot/bucket any day of the week.Nahhh, don't waste your time. Forget the oz in the grow bag and aim for a lb. Pick a spot with as much sun as you feel safe with. Dig a good sized hole, the bigger the better (3 feet deep and wide). Mix up 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and the existing soil. Sprinkle in some osmocote three month vegetative time release fertilizer for good measure and fill the hole back in. You could spend more money and mix in better soiless mixes and use better ferts, but that's as simple as it gets for preparing the earth. Of course you will need to water regularly and give more fertilizer..... but that's another day.
how large do you suggest DDM?bigger hole will allow u to better amend the area and soil to suit ur needs....plus will give the roots better area to grow and will produce MONSTER plants and buds with more space to grow in..
DDM
exactly... 3x3 is the way to go bruddaI'd suggest 3foot holes as the biggest yielders roll with that. Anybody on the west border of MN?
Peat moss is cheap and you can simply mix it with half native soil anyways. Also, the roots will tend to go deeper if you let it it go dry between waterings in the early stages rather than water constantly on the surface. They need to go down deeper and seek out groundwater this way, and consequently, are more drough proof in the long run and actually require less watering overall. That being said, if you will be running 70 + plants, I wouldn't do a 3 by 3 and would drop down to 2 by 2. But 16 inches is pretty shallow my friend. I'm not right and your not wrong, it's merely a matter of preference I suppose. Best of luck this year people.IMO three feet is a little excessively deep and you're gonna just end up paying more for soil. I'd say about 16 inches is all the deeper you would ever need it. i go no smaller than 2x2....4x4 at most but yea its all preference......general rule of thumb with most all plants is that the roots will grow at least 3 times as wide as the crown of the plant...bigger hole will mean more work and amending but u can control the soil a lil better IMOhow large do you suggest DDM?
