Attitude Pre-paid card Payment Issues?

Alright so I just went out and bought one of those 50 dollar pre-paid Visa Debit gift cards. It says on attitude that they are an accepted form of payment. My concern is once I opened it I saw it said "Valid only in the United States"....:dunce: :wall:. Does this mean that I will not be able to purchase from Attitude as they are based in the UK? If not does anyone know if I can return this thing back for cash since I haven't used it yet? Is it the re-loadable ones I need to purchase? I'm trying to steer clear of sending cash of any form through the postal service in the event it becomes "misplaced". I know I should forward this question to them instead of here but they are closed for the weekend and I'd like to get it sorted out as soon as possible in-case some bullshit comes up where I can't return it after a certain amount of days...

I use a walmart pre-paid card. You can load money / withdraw it at any time in any walmart location and can use the card to make purchases anywhere in the world. It's a mastercard. I loaded it with $400 dollars to purchase some materials once only to decide against it. When I wanted my cash back Walmart had no issue taking the money off the card and putting cash in my hand. Highly recommended.

Are these the Greendot cards? An when you say "sign up" does that mean I'll need to provide photo I.D./SSN?

I'm pretty sure you'd need an id. Just to prove you are who you say you are. These are nice pre-paid cards with your name on it and everything. It's just a standard pre-paid mastercard but supported by Walmart. Convenient to load / unload and usable wherever.


Here is the link. It does appear to ask for SS#. But I'm not sure why that would be an issue. It's not illegal to own a walmart prepaid card!

Or you can go to any walmart and sign up in person. They gave me a usable temporary card right away when I did that and made purchases the same day. In fact! You could sign up with them, then take the other visa gift card you bought and use it to put money on your walmart moneycard.

Alright, my big problem is now on the back of the card I got it says "Non returnable after opened"... fucking bullshit Visa. I'm going to try to return anyways. Thank you both for the info. and +Rep to you both.

Hey just go signup for that walmart card and use the Visa you bought to put the money onto the walmart card. You said it was a $50 card? So signup, then put 50 on your walmart card. Make sense?

Haha yeah never thought of that but the girl at the return desk checked some pamphlet of non-returnable items and it only listed the Chase ones as non-returnable so I lucked out :). Can't wait to grab the wal-mart one tomorrow, decided on some Barney's Violator Kush, Big Buddha's Blue Cheese, and Dutch Passion's Hollands Hope :D. Though from what I've read it seems DP's fem'd have a greater chance to hermie'ing than others...

if you have to give all your personal information for the prepaid card than doesnt that defeat the purpose of getting a prepaid card and not using your credit card? i assume you are using the prepaid card so you remain anonymous.

Nope just have shit for credit. j/k I don't use credit cards... seen too many people fall into bankruptcy from them.

heyy i use that EXACT same method. heres the deal, your temporary card that you got in the packet is only valid in the US, but when you get your permanent card in the mail after about 7 days from the time you opened the account... you can use it to buy from the UK. I do it all the time, but use up all the money because every 30 days the green dot card charges you 5.95.

(edit:btw last month on attitudes promo, i order like $80 in seeds and they told me the order never went through and to place another order. literally a few hours after paying for the new order they "somehow found" the money from the first order and they charged my card twice. this is the 10 or so time ordering from them and after they told me id get a refund... they stopped answering my emails and they keep telling me that i need to talk to rachel... yet shes never available when i call and she never calls me back. be very careful because im not the first person they did this to. and those prepaid cards dont give a shit and tell you tough luck. ill never order from attitude again, but the prepaid card works. and IMHO id order from castle marijuana seeds, they have the best prices and cheapest shipping but thats my opinion after being royally screwed from attitude for 2 months in a row now. now i make my own seeds but youll be good to go on your prepaid card after you get your permanent one...

but if youre looking for seeds, since attitude screwed me and charged me for 2 orders i now have an extra order coming with all march promos seeds plus 2 UFO's. i ordered greenhouse seeds super bud 5 pack and pure kush 5 pack all fem with the promo like i said. if you want any of them and dont want to wait for your perm card send me a private message)

The card Shemexy mentioned appears to be Visa not Greendot though. I'm not really trying to wait another 7 days just to order them :neutral: . Got everything I need for the grow except for the seeds and I want to get started asap :lol: . Except I placed an order thinking Hollands Hope was an indoor strain when I found out it was preferable for outdoors... can't wait till I'm done getting all this stuff and can just get started on it. Seems I've been running into problems/obstacles everyday this past week trying to get the necessary equipment. Honestly starting to think it is a sign from God not to grow but its whatever I guess bongsmilie

Thanks for the offer mate but I hear GHS has gotten a pretty bad reputation in the past few years. They almost seem like a joke now "colored seeds" wtf? I looked up the super kush feminized seeds on attitude and the genetics part says "clone only"... refer to my profile picture. They seem to have gone down hill since Shanti left.

Did you just put the information in the credit card payment area? You need to call attitude and they take the info. on the card down.

yeah i just put it in, i just used a debit card i hate dealing with people on the phone. i dont ship anything to the place i grow so im not to paranoid. think the worst they could do is give me a fine mayby a couple days in jail.
