However, if we all thought like that, then the Earth would still be flat, period, not open to interpretation.you have to have 12 hours of darkness to induce flowering, 1 on 1 off and so on would most likely kill your plant. The light cycle is not open to experimentation. This was the first thing indoor growers had to figure out and there is a reason it's been 12/12 for the last 25+ years.
Well why don't you try it and let us know how soon you decide not to do it anymore?Ok, so i gather none of the posters have actually tried this, yet they seem to be against experimenting with anything other than 12/12 because that is all they've been told.
This is the downfall of smoking too much pot. You lose your motivation and imagination.
its not going to induce flowering...if it does flower under that cycle its probably going to hermie....does the sun have a on/off switch? we put them on 12/12 for a reason.for MJ to properly flower it needs at least 12 hours of darkness...but if you really want to try it as a true "experiment"...try it on a few different autoflowering strains...since it dont really matter what light cycle they are on to flower.Has anyone ever tried 1 hour on 1 hour off?
Does this induce flowering and are the flowers bigger or smaller vs a 12 on/12 off light cycle.
Thanks
you might want to google hydrophytism....a few aquatic plants grow naturally suspended in water...same principle as hydroponics.I say experiment. Yes try to simulate nature but....hmm hydroponics isn't so natural
