Alright guy I need to get some stuff cleared up so here we go

1. I can't install a exhaust fan cause my small grow is in a cuboard with a 250 HPS.
2. when I see my first bladed leaves I'm going to start nutes on quarter strength of what it says on the bottle.
3. I'm using 2 normal fans to push air circulation , is this okay?
4. How much does ph matter?

Cheers for any answers I get .

1.Ph is EXTREMELY important my man.
2.I do not give nutes at all till veg. Depending on what soil you use you shouldnt have to give nutes till flower.

Hope this helps......anymore questions just ask my man.

I dont know about that 250 working in a cupboard without ventilation . Watch your temps you at least need a way to keep a fresh air supply. Wait on some nodage b4 nutes though .

If the cupboard is your(not in a rented house) a large PC fan mounted high will work for ventilation. Drawing air out of the cupboard and creating a negative pressure which will then draw in fresh air through any openings or cracks. Mounted high to remove as much warm air as possible. Idk if it will keep up with a 250w though. I used this setup in a small pantry running just over 500w of fluoro and it worked well. I've since been fortunate enough to acquire a place that has an extra bedroom, so.....

PH can be critical, however, I have grown without ever checking and had no problems. I attribute it to dumb luck, but it can be done. You just won't know what went wrong(if it goes wrong) until it's too late or uncorrectable.

Hope it helps a little.

This has mostly been said already, but I wanted to show a new grower some support:

1. I can't install a exhaust fan cause my small grow is in a cuboard with a 250 HPS. **Look into a PC (axial) fan. They lay flat and can be installed easily in tight spaces.
2. when I see my first bladed leaves I'm going to start nutes on quarter strength of what it says on the bottle. **Too soon.
3. I'm using 2 normal fans to push air circulation , is this okay? **Yes and yes.
4. How much does ph matter? **If Yogi Berra grew cannabis, he might say, "50% of growing is 90% pH." So, it's really important. However, fresh rainwater can be given to plants without worry of pH problems.

Good luck!
