So next feeding I'll add some of that and keep the coco a&b at the 10ml if they respond well to this last feeding. All feedings have been ph'd to 5.8 and I am drain to waste. Any suggestions on when to start with the cannazyme?

If ur gonna use Calmag, use it half strength at most and make sure you use maybe 2ml less per gallon of A&B....Calmag raises ppms a lot and you wanna make room for it.......Cannazyme is just an enzyme so you can't burn with it......You can use it on really small plants.......Keeps the plants nice and green and keeps the roots clean....Nice pics!...Lookin good:clap:......Peace

yea all sorted now. they were just slow starters looking big now tho. im using 250w hps upgrading to 400 for next run and bigger tent. gonna run 6 under 400 using autopot system with coco. i havent got an ec meter either but my tap water is a consistent 0.3ec so i just follow the canna grow guide.

Are you running drain to waste? cuz if you are recycling ur water.....
An e.c. meter is essential if you are running a recirculating system.....There is water evaporation which could raise your e.c. to a dangerous level..... The plants also uptake the nutes, lowering your e.c. to a dangerous level as well.....so ....you could be topping off with water and making your e.c. way too low at one point and deficiencies develop... then.... the next day....Plants don't eat as much and there is evaporation.....now your e.c. is too high and your plants burn.....The key to healthy plants in hydro is stability....If your plants are deficient or burn at anytime, they are slowed and weakened and this affects overall vigor.....Get an e.c. meter.... It is cheap compared to the problems you will have to fix in the future without it........Good luck

hey guys this is my first grow. can anyone help me with how to mix a coco grow medium. what do i need? how do i start my seeds just cracked today do i need to transplant them to coco yet?

What are your seeds planted in right now? If they are in a jiffy cube or somethin like that then you can wait until they get a couple sets of leaves before you transplant....As for a coco medium.....An equal part coco, perlite, and hydroton mix has worked wonders for me in the past....What kind of nutes do you plan on usin?

ive been using all canna for my autoflower grow. Since theyre going to start budding on their own time, how do I know when to start adding the boost? Im afraid of starting too soon or too late. Will adding too soon stunt the last bit of veg growth, even though first signs of flowers are popping up?

This is the link to their feed chart for coco but i gotta tell ya..........Bud XL from H&G is the same product. However, you only use 3.8 ml a gallon of Bud XL instead 15 ml, a Bud XL qt. cost considerably less than Boost, and you only use it from the 4th week of flower till the end....Some guys will swear by Boost, and it is a great product, but Bud XL serves the same purpose....... and it is a better deal ......Hope this helps......Peace

Thanks, ive been following the canna feed chart pretty close. And thanks for the tip on boost vs bud xl. H&g was the other line of nutrients I was looking into. I'll definitely look into the bud xl when I run out of boost. how well does h&g mix with canna products, mainly the coco but also if I were to mix and match canna and h&g nutrients, anyone out there do this and what are your experiences?

HigH People. Luv'n the canna nutes and coco. Here are my girls(1LSD&1BlueMystic) on day 28 and 4 days since I topped using UBTT. They have really responded well to the topping bouncing back nicely. Lots of new growth in the last few days. Prob gonna switch to flower in a week or so. Waiting on my greenair atmospheric controller to get here on Monday. That will complete my co2 setup. Bought a digigro coco co2 controller/monitor and regulator a few weeks ago. Bought a 20lb co2 tank on Monday. Will set it all up once I get the greenair controller. Fed the girls today using the canna calculator for a light feeding. I went a little lighter on the coco a&b than recommended. Have a few little spots on a couple leaves I've been watching. Not sure if it's a deficiency or nute burn. I mixed 6L today. My water is from tap that is in a 5gl bucket for at least 24hrs with an airstone going. Ph after that is 7.3 and the EC is 0.06. I used 10ml of coco a&b 12ml of rhizotonic 15ml of cannazyme and also 5ml of Magi-Cal. That mix is a ph of 6.2 which I ph'd down to 5.8. The ec was 1.59. Anyway here is the LSD:

Well its funny....supposedly the guy who made H&G worked at Canna beforehand and that's where he got his ideas...He just wanted to make it cheaper and better.....Canna and H&G are really similar if you look at the products and even the bottles...Anyway...Yeah...I have buddies who mix these two no problem....That's the thing though...I am a big fan of mix and matching products from different companies to come up with ur own special recipe....That way your herb is unique....I really like to mix H&G and some AN supplements along with other little secrets I've picked up along the way......I love this stuff..lol........Peace

Im sure jberry started a thread on the boost subject to and he was lookin into the budxl but then he found out it contained nutes and raised ec so was no good for him cos he would have to lower other stuff to compansate im not 100% sure though!

Actually Bud Xl only raises ppms by about 20.....It contains very minimal nutes.....Mostly an enzyme that helps the plants natural process of transporting sugars into the bud

Current canna nutes used:

Canna A + B (i let sit for HOURS to achieve a stable PH, i found this to be very important)
Cannazyme (75% strength, every 2 or 3 waterings)
Canna Boost (Going to replace with BudXL next. Same thing but 50% cheaper)
PK 13/14 (just for a week, midflower)

Additional nutes:

HG Roots Excelurator (cheaper and undoubtedly more effective than rhizotonic)
HG Drip Clean (to prevent salt buildup from occuring in root area)
Calmag
Molasses
Mad Farmer M.O.A.B (flowering starter/finisher to increase size and density)

Next run I think I'll be trying some Fungi tablets too
