man they freak me out so fucking much!

man i was hiking one time and i stepped by one climbing up a hill i saw it in my side view and my fucking heart beat out of my chest and fucking almosted fainted.

many just seeing them on tv brings nightmares in a dark room!!
My biggest phobia is the desert centipede. Not your common household variety centipedes but the huge ass desert centipedes that live around here. My grandmother had a scar on her leg until the day she died from one of them and one my Uncles had one on his back. They get almost a foot long. :: shudder ::

Oh, we have those too. Only a smaller version. They're a type of mock scorpion. We call them Sun Spiders or Wind Spiders depending on who you talk to. They are extremely fast and for some reason always travel in pairs. We get them in our house all the time. They don't bother me as much as centipedes. Spiders don't bother me that much. I grew up with parents that would not allow us to kill spiders. It was considered good luck to have a grand daddy long legs in your home. The Navajo creation story has Spider Grandmother teaching them how to weave and DAMN was she a good teacher.
