Kratom! Very clean stimulant with a really nice relaxing/energetic buzz.... I also get anxiety and stimulants usually make it worse but kratom is very smooth, It also helps with anxiety imo.

Anyone who hasn't tried kratom should :]

I feel yeah man, when i was 18 i went to work for budweiser RIGHT after high school. after 9 months i had the top paying keg route we had. 70-75k a year for 4 years...what was a shit load of money, now seems like penny's when you factor in a wife, 2 kids and a few back surgeries. haha i love it dont get me wrong!! but fucking A man, what i wouldnt give to go back to it for a day or two sometimes

you guys get sleep?

whats that?

heh...

I worked in the oil-fields for about 6 years. Started working for 'Haliburton' when I was 19 then took a long vacation when I was 25/26 years old. I'm 29 now.. haven't had a job in 3 years. But then again, I made enough money in the field to where I can actually take a few years off.. which is exactly what I did. Plus, I'm living in a different state now too.. so that really effected my decision to quit as well.

But yeah, I averaged around 4 hours a sleep per day.. if I was lucky I would get 4 hours. Sometimes I got less.. like between 2 and 3 hours per day. It sucked.. because I like my sleep.. but it was worth the money. Hazard pay; per diem pay; etc..

I was young.. and I was making around 65k/yearly. I don't know about you guys.. but 65k a year, to me.. is a TON of money. My first year there.. I made around 60k a year.. I was young too.. so to me.. that was a hella-load of cash. I was bringing home after taxes.. around $2400 to $2800 every two weeks. Man.. I had everything back then too. I went out and bought myself a BRAND NEW fully loaded 4-wheeler. It had the 'Big Foot' kit on it; GPS; 2" LIFT; Chrome wheels with custom sized tires; H.I.D. Headlight kit; etc... I bought that thing right off the Honda showroom floor. Man I was banking back then.. damn it.

But now.. now I'm not bringing in any money. I mean, I have money in the bank.. I guess I just miss being out there in the outdoors working.

rambling again.. sorry about that. my morning wake-n-bake is the cause. ;)

peace.

This little thing is the future RIU admin!!

Puffer, I remember walking through the busiest bit of the park with friends while tripping. We were right opposite the playground when I remember saying "If anyones on a really good drug its the children!" LOL I guess they are so thrilled with their sensory input at first that they are literally tripping. Shame we have to take psychedelics to get to that same state of mind, what has life done to us?! Anyone remembers their father shouting GROW UP!! lol

Same part of the park I was walking through, there was a guy which seemed like a homeless person , I gave him some coin as I passed by tripping and I never can be sure if he actually was after money. I think I heard a thanks as I was walking away but missed most of the shit he was saying. That was a fucking awkward moment lol

Realize ... children are way more sophisticated than adults ... as Operational realities are loosely structured.

Psychedelics cause a temporary trip to this mindstate, that may leave imprints yes, but meditation makes this mindstate permanant. This is something that is one of the MOST important things to remember, let psychedelics let you embark on the journey, but don't rely on them, as that just leads to failure. You must make you own path through meditation and the way you live, and tripping all the time is NOT the answer. I feel that it is so important, I just reiterated a statement and I usually don't do that. I just feel I really need to highlight this concept as many people never realize this and it brings them down the wrong path eventually.

EDIT: I just added more and edited this to an embarrassing extent, I must really have started tripping..

I agree with you! I tell that to people from time to time, I love the hallucinatory section but I`m not a mad consumer of psychedelics, im just very interested in them at the moment.

I see the human brain as a fine working machine and the psychedelic as the spanner thrown in the works... Sounds like a harsh statement to make around psychedelic enthusiasts but thats the way it is IMO. However, we are learning, concious entities and will learn from that experience unlike just a piece of machinery. Our machine starts asking questions, comes up with unusual ideas and leans towards philosophy while "malfunctioning" and generally has a banging good time too!! But the fact is, there is a spanner in the works after all so we have to watch it while taking these drugs :)

Love your edit by the way, lol Have a nice trip and I`ll be waiting for your report =)

I`m quite impressed with your mind reading skills I have to say Puffer! :)

Consider:There is a glass half full of water on the table.

The optimist looks at the glass and says: The glass is half full.
The pesimist looks at the glass and says: The glass is half empty
The physicist looks and puts down a series of calculations with a constant n and 2 variables, G(full) and G(emtpy)
The engineer looks at the glass and says : The glass is twice the size it should be!

:D
