grow as much as you can legally and if cops bust down your door one day they can't do anything as long as you are with in the grow limits and got your medical marijuana card and papers with you

Do you mean co-op grow houses? And I'm not blabbing my mouth about it at all, only a very select few trustworthy people know about it.

I'm within the legal limits, with my medical card/papers. I was told they can charge you and take you to jail, that it's only in court where you can really fight your case. Any truth to that? Just wondering how long they could put me in jail for? I have a small child that needs me at home, I can't be going to jail! But I need my medicine, and a little income at the same time so I figured this would be the ticket. Just getting paranoid, I have a lot to lose...

Tha is why you post your papers at entry to grow room and keep medical card on you at all times... Any cop that makes an arrest with papers present is an asshole with a personal agenda... A few reports or cases tossed out and the pig will be looking for a new job...

Does Washington State give out medical cards? All I have is the papers the doc. gave me saying that I can grow 15 plants and have so many ounces of ready to smoke buds. Is this the same thing? Or am I missing something?

That was my point, you told 3 too many.... as growers, we've learned that loose lips sink ships. we have seen our best friends show up at our grow site in the middle of the night, carrying a machette to chop our girls down like a thief in the night, we have had people turned in to police because they were friends one day, and the next they have a tiff and the one goes off and calls the cops, We;ve had people who have lost everything they worked so hard for...
So like i said, you told a few too many already... I'm not being rude, I'm being an alarmist, so it sinks in and you get it, for your own good... regardless of how well you trust a person, when you have potentially thousands of dollars tied up in a harvest, best friends can easily get greedy and try to fuck you. It happens....

Gotcha.... Things happened kinda weird for those people to find out in the first place. They showed up on days we were setting things up and yea, they shouldn't have known in the first place. Thanks.

Just make sure you keep the room locked and paperwork posted outside of it. Also, if another adult is living in the house fill out the caretaker paperwork on them just to be covered. They can take you to jail as it technically only provides an active defense as the law is written but if your paper work is legit and they can verify it (alot of places have a 24hour number the cops can call to verify you are a patient) and the cops don't feel like being pricks you should be fine.
I keep my stash locked and mounted in a gun case inside my locked grow room inside my locked basement so that I never have to worry about them trying to say my kids could get at it and I make sure the misses has caretaker paperwork because she has a key in case something happens when I'm not at home. As far as making some cash on the side well if your that worried about getting clapped up don't do it just grow enough for yourself and all will be fine, you might not be making money but you'll be saving a shit ton.

Very true, good advice man! I only got 1 copy of my medical paperwork when I got it, can I make a copy of it and keep the original at home posted in the room, so I can carry the copy with me at all times? Or does it have to be a legal fancy copy?

Permits are on non-copy paper in WA. If you try and copy it it will say "Void" all over it. If you want a copy to post, and one to carry....you will have to get in touch with the place that issued it in the first place and get another copy. They will probably charge you for it.....any way to make another buck off you.
But you do need to have one posted, and if you are ever carrying any or smoking away from home...you need a copy with you at all times. If you have a provider, they need a copy also to carry with their provider sheet, along with a copy of your ID.

Your recommendation is only your defense. Yes, they can take everything (lights, plants etc) and take you to jail. Really it depends where you live. I don't see that happening in Seattle city limits at all...but anywhere else is a crap shot.
I can't tell you how long they can hold you, or how long before you get to see a judge, or how much a lawyer would cost.....I can tell you that if you are busted for "trafficking" all bets are off and that reccomendation isn't going to mean anything.
