After thoroughly reading my lease agreement to insure there wouldn't be any complications with growing my own med stash in my unit, I've discovered a clause that said my lease will be terminated if I violate any provisions of the federal controlled substances act...ain't that about a bitch? Now I'm stuck in this fucking unit until the end of this year and can't grow...total BULLSHIT! I highly suggest anybody else looking to grow in a rental property type of situation thoroughly review their lease agreement as I got the 'ol shaft-er-ew.
I wonder if you were to rent a property and legally grow your own MMJ and there is no clause in your lease regarding the CSA or violations of federal law etc...could you still be evicted if your landlord found out and disagreed with your legal grow?
Furthermore, according to my lease, I can't even smoke legal medical marijuana in my rented residence without risking eviction. Un-Fucking-believable...
It seems to me that the only safe way to do this would be to own your own property otherwise you risk losing your place to live. So much for legal MMJ in Michigan huh?
