2x400w hps

my grow room has 2 400w hps and im just curious to how many plants its possible to grow with......
my room is almost 14ft long 5ft wide and 7.5ft high..

so far im growing 8 plants and would like to know just how many i cud squeeze into that space..

50 watts a square foot minimum, so thats 16 square feet, or 4 foot by 4 foot.

you have 70 sq ft . 1 plant/2 sq ft = 35 plants

Id go under the max amount for footage to make sure you get even light coverage.If you go side by side with a small overlap Id say you can do a good 24 under the 2 lights with good air flow room and controlability.I do 32 under 3 400 watt lights or 32 under 2 600 watt lights and find thats about max as the outter edge plants dont get as much light and suffer from it.

You just posted something...If you mean start a thread then go to the right group you want to start your thread in, i.e. general marijuana growing, newbie central etc. Then in the upper left corner right under the sub forums and above the threads in forum there is the new thread button. Click that and your on your way.

14 ft by 5 ft.. you could use 2 6 foot light movers and cover more plants.
