Hi.
I grow organic myself but it sounds like it could be your ph.
I think hydro is between 5.6-6.2.
Hope this helps.

i had a serious Ph problem when I started my first hydro setup. and it can do some weird things to the plants, from yellowing to deformities. I bought a cheap testing kit from an aquarium store and some GH Ph-down. after that I had much better results(even the deformed plant straightened out)

THAT SANTA SCARES ME(using the child wiggins voice ...simpsons) ph will allow or disallow nutes into the root system. ph is always a problem you have to watch it all the time. :joint:

thanks checked my ph, appears to be fine, using testing strips, think i might invest in a digital reader to be on the safeside.. hopefully it straightens out..

Get a tds meter too or maybe one of those combo meters. Helps out knowing your nute strength as well. I wish I would have just gotten a combo meter when I purchased my ph meter. Cheers and good luck with the grow!

Yea I have the cheap tds meter and it works just fine. The Ph meter that I bought was like 85 though and I wished I'd have just sprung and gotten the combo.
