well victory if u did some reseacrh u would kno tht fan leaves die in the final stages of flowering due to the fact that u stop using nutes start flushing and the plant uses stored nitrogen in the leaves if u dont do this u must grow some nasty ass flavored weed LOL

thats not actually true, my leaves dont die and my weed is off the hook! green leaves means your growing correctly, and why are you asking questions if you know so much?

exactly, If he did some research, he would know that plants dying off at the end is a rumor.and he would also know that flushing is another myth. But thanks for playing anyways. I love it, I own a hydro store and he is gonna try and school me.

Well said VG. I was thinking the same exact thing...........
The myth that a plant naturally yellows in flowering will live forever. Know why? I will tell you why. Its called 'passing the buck' because most growers lack the skills to grow a healthy plant start to finish. Its much easier to blame the plant then it is to look in the mirror and blame yourself............

How do you not know exactly how many weeks or even days they have been flowering for??

I have a harvest conundrum myself right now. I have northern lights at 9 1/2 weeks and trichs are still cloudy with some clear and very few amber. NL has always been further along at this point for me. I'm thinking I will chop it at 10 weeks no matter. Would you let it go longer?

ps when I say weeks I mean weeks in 12/12. I believe it to be true that when seedbanks talk about flowering time, they mean time in 12/12.

Correct seedbanks(most)base the flowering times on the number of days in 12//12. But....consider the fact they are most certainly flowering plants that have already reached sexualy maturity during veg. So flowering begins within days of the switch. While most closet growers put their plants on a 12/12 light schedule after a short veg period so the plant has not reached sexual maturity yet. Sometimes taking up to 2 weeks before actual flowering begins. So as you can see it a slippery slope with many variables including but not limited too enviroment/grow style ect.... Breeders flowering times are a basic guide at best........

Good points cowboy. I went to 12/12 very early and it was 10 days before I saw the first pre-flowers. I guess I'll wait till I see some more amber.

This could take weeks after its initial ripeness. I know what u mean and you are correct but it isn't a timely manner type of controlled function if you know what I am saying. IMO
