I understand how you're reaching that conclusion, however it is one thing to stage a legal filibuster and quite another to pack your shit and leave town, specifically because you know you will be arrested for your actions. It changed NOTHING, it solved NOTHING, even if they can get the current legislation thrown out on procedural grounds, they're just going to pass it again. Just because you don't like the fact they are in control and can pass anything they want, doesn't mean you abandon your elected post to halt the system. You make your arguments, you mount a filibuster if you can and if you can't you criticize it in the media and hopefully convince enough voters to give you the ability to make the changes YOU want. Anything less is cowardice and really shows the scumbags for what they are.
