[FONT=&quot]You've been asking exactly how I do what I do,with ferts, for a good long time.
This is a recipe for anybody to follow, based on my decade-plus experiences with GenHy's Flora Series.
It does smokin' good for me,your results may vary.
I'm always tweaking the above,and you should,too.

==The Recipe==

(All Products are GenHydro,pH at 5.5 pH)
(All measurements are per gal.)
6ml flora micro
9ml flora bloom
Kool-Bloom POWDER

VEGETATIVE STAGE AT 24 HRS. LIGHT ON
(18/6,optional)

Veg,Feed:

6ml flora micro
9ml flora bloom

Use the above 1/2-strength on seedlings and clones to 10" tall, then feed full-strength>on.

Based on 63 day 12/12 Flower Cycle:

Day 1-14
6ml micro
9ml bloom

Day 15-21
6ml micro
9ml bloom
1 tsp./Gal. Kool-Bloom POWDER (ONE FEED,DAY 15!)

Day 22-28
6ml micro
9ml Bloom

Day 29-35
9ml Bloom
1 tsp./gal. Kool-Bloom POWDER (ONE FEED,DAY 29!)

Day 36-52
9 ml Bloom
(AND ON DAY 36,a 1 tsp./gal Kool-Bloom POWDER Slam!!)

Day 52-63 (Flush)
5.5-6.0 pH h20 at 50 ppm

Now you know!!

lol sorry i know its not funny but that is really messed up. maybe its the one on the left is touching the leaf, or its that the one on the right is touching the timer which does get warm
the timer was just to raise 1 so it was level with the other meter, iv'e had them show differences of 10 degrees....wtf

Thats messed up FM about the meters. Have you changed the batteries? Sometimes things will fluctuate when batteries are dying. Just a thought. It's tricky to keep track of who's saying what with all the avatars being the same Lol!

hey guys, thought I'd post up my new stuff and get some input, having a problem implementing dwc into the same res as an diy aeroflo rip (see photos). Its really kinda complicated and I'm thinking of doing away with the dwc cooler and just keeping the aeroflo ripoff. What I need is a dependable float switch, I just returned a JBJ Auto top off system because it glitched and would flood my room. All it consists of is a float switch and controller to turn on/off a pump. I'm thinking I'm going to try a basement watchdog which is a basement sump pump float switch thats much like the JBJ ATO. If the rails do well I really don't need this other cooler but I did wanna keep some dwc around , a flooded room pretty much sucks though. The reason it floods is because the two coolers above are actually connected to the output of a chiller, Its actually one common res , I can't depend on water levels to level themselves out so will try this float switch, a cycle timer has worked fairly nicely( I didn't flood the floor yet but almost) any suggestions on a float switch would be helpful.

Wish I could help DB, but that is beyond me.
I'm really hoping a fellow member can come through for you, bcuz I'd hate to see you ditch that nice ass set up.
Perhaps talk to a hydro shop or the guy at Lowes in the plumbing dept. without giving too much away ?

Yo Flo thanks. The JBJ auto top off would have been sweet if it didn't glitch. I don't much worry about giving away a secret to the lowes/home depot guys, they know me well and I've told them not exactly what I'm doing but I do tell them I'm building hydroponic systems, I'm legal thanks to the great state of colorado!!! But I usually just add in I'm growing tomatoes , they could care less really and h ave been a great help but this is beyond them too I think, I asked the home depot guy for the basement watchdog that they have on their site, he's like I'll have to order it, I'm like, odd, you'd think there would be a big call, then I remember how dry it is around here and basements flooding are rare :/
Ah well , I'll order one of those and continue the cycle timer too for a failsafe.

Maybe i miss read but im a little confused as to what you need the float switch for? to turn water off from filling tank?or turn off pump

Its confusing I know, it would require a diagram to explain I'm sure, but I have one main res (110 liter igloo) with a 1000 gph pump pumping like 15 feet away in the mechanical room to a 1/2hp chiller, it then returns thru 3/4 inch tubing to a manifold in the grow room, this splits off into to hoses , one going to the drain on the main res(igloo cooler ) and one going to the other drain fitting on the secondary dwc res(I've changed configuration a few times and can shut off each res from one another by switching a valve) , the whole idea of it is to get a lot of circulation between the two res. but....to answer your question the float switch should turn on a pump when the level in the secondary res comes up to a certain point , I thought the jbj ato was my answer but soon found out different, I'll try the basement watchdog. Its like 35 bux, if it fails I'll try some other ato on the market, they actually make some nice ones. For reef aquariums mainly.
