You know I have always wondered this but never tried it. Does anyone know the answer to this? No guesses please. Has anyone ever tried it or read about it anywhere?

is this a real question? they are called PRE flowers for a reason, only a true flower can be pollenated to produce seeds.

Yes, they can but there usually has to be male pollen available before any males in the crop open their flowers. Because the preflowers come so early, they aren't usually viable by the time the male flowers open. There are breeders who pollinate preflowers as a way to get only a few seeds from their females.

Not to doubt but could you show me where you learned that? Cite please.

I am wanting to try it with a mom I have, massive amounts of preflowers. Don't have any pollen yet but it shouldn't be hard to cum by. ;-)
