Yeah I snipped off all the dead ones. I changed the water yesterday to 1/2 strength. Next two weeks will be no ferts, and hopefully I can cut the bish down and try again.

DAY 40 VEG..


Well day 40 of veg so i bit of an update for you the first pic was done on day 39 just before they had there last veg trim and the second is what was left after the trim just fans and the lower small branches no topping or fim.They will be getting one more sleep tonight then 42 hours of light then i will flip them to flower.I went and got all my last bits i need for flower so heres a short list of what i got to flower them with.

Canna flower A and B
3 X 25w 2700k
1 X 250w 2700k
pk 13 and 14 for weeks 6 and 7 (boost)
canna flush for the last 2 weeks
I also picked up a 2 fan 125 ml carbon filter kit as the smell is every where now, so i will have 325w now for flower with an extra 18w 2700k tube light if i need it later on if they all turn out female.I will be putting the net in today as there all about a foot tall so it will go in about 16-18 inches so they can strech a bit before there trained. any thing you want to no then just post, till the next time Peace to all.

Thanks dude my mate has been using NFT tanks for years and does really well and when he got sum new tanks he give me one and said you get the seeds i will help so im sort of following hes advice mixed with a few idears of my own i just try and keep it simple.Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks to all who stopped by just to let you know after there sleep i notice that they grew about 2-3 inches in the last 2 days so i decided to flip them to flower last night so im hoping the next 10 days i should find out what i got my fingers are crossed for 2 girls and 1 boy (3 girls would be sweet) as 1s a bag seed and the other 2 are fems so.I will update when the net is in or when they show sex.

DAY 3 OF FLOWER .. no news as of yet on sex but i have noticed a 12 finger fan leaf but its not like any fan leaf like it take a look tell me what you think or if you seen it before its my bubble gum plant.

DAY 7 FLOWER. Well it's day 7 and time to update you with sum more picks. My grid is in i went for 2 inch gaps and i intend on filling them all. lol. my bubble gum has now show pre flower and i think that my big skunk will in the next day or two but im not 100% sure that it will be a female it looks like its got the same thing going on as the BG but time will tell.
The first pic is of my hand made grid took about 2 hours and i can take it out if i need to.The two pics in the middle are my bubble gums pre flowers and the last is the skunk #1 not sure about this one.?

DAY 14 FLOWER ..

Well its good news all three are female and well on the way in to flower there coming up in to the net ready to be trained i have been cutting back the big fans every 3 to 4 days to let good light to all the bud sites and its worked well for me so far i think, so heres a few pics telll me what you think.

Thanks mate i am a lucky i no what with bubble gum coming from a bag i was hoping for 1 or 2 maybe but three is very good i will post sum up to date photos later as they are all buding now and im training them across my grid.

hey man first time posting just made a new account. your set up looks great and the fact that you're getting that kind of growth from one CFL is amazing. I might have missed it when I was scrolling through, did you say what wattage and color temp that is? Did you use mylar or is that some kind of reflective material you found at home depot or wally world? I'd sub but I can't find the button GL and props man. happy growin! edit: +rep even though its not much :/

Hi every one sorry had a major pc problem just a smalll up date i finished them off under a 250w red cfl and a 65w blue just mix itup a bit .Bubblegum turned hermie and was dispatced from the room both of the skunk number ones finished nicely 1 was half the size of the other and never made it up to the grid as i flipped them to early i should of trained then flipped i would of got a lof more as it goes i got 16.9 g from the small 1 (16inches tall) and the other 1 done 43.5g so not to sad for my first go.

Not too bad. The screen should be kinda lowered a few inches and put in a bit earlier in veg. You want the screen to kinda push a little against the plant, its what produces the stress hormones called auxins. That's what makes scrog so nice. When you bend branches over to let more light in and you have a scrog, all the leaf sites up and down the stem become bud sites going through the screen. Good learning experience though! And a great NFT!
