if this doesnt work then do you think i should upgrade to a 250w hps? it already runs about 75 degrees during the day in my flower room and its not even summer yet, my house has no air conditioning. will it be hot as hell?

Just waiting on my 1000 watt light to get here on monday, then they will go into 5 gallon bags for two more weeks of veg. So, flowering around the 1st of May.

yeah i live in the us, east coast. its been shitty out here lately nicest day so far was 80 its been rainy cloudy and cold. so its not ready for outside yet. how many hours of light are we getting though?

do you think my 165w of cfl isnt enough to flower this baby?

im thinking of getting the hps

Ive seen some nice grows done with CFLs however she is pretty big, and if you are looking for a semi decent yield you are gonna want bigger lights.

Southern US is getting almost 13 hours a day now, and the days are only getting longer

I don't know much about 250's so I can't give you advice on that.

if i put it outside and it keeps vegging, and its a sativa with about 10-11 week flowering time do you think itll be able to finish in time?

Possibly, how cold is "cold" If you grow her out that long she is gonna be a monster outside!!!

ok so i went ahead and bought the 250w hps with an eye horilux bulb... do you think i should leave my 125w cfl in there and have both if they fit or just replace it with the hps?

cool, should be here in 5-7 days. and thats about when my green poison in the scrog will be done, so ill post up some pics when i get the light and plant all set in there

yeah no prob, flowering actually prefers a cooler night time temp. It typically results in better quality ime.

My general rule of thumb is NOTHING below 55F. Preferably, a 63L and a 78High is ideal.

For your monster outdoors in october(near the end of flower) and it dips between 50-60, i wouldnt worry at all. i would worry that theres not enough time in the week to smoke all that weed tho!

I agree, if you are not worried about having a huge tree, then screw buying the HPS, and veg her outside all summer, and let her flower outside.

I drop my night(Lights Off Period)temps between 50F-55F in the last 2weeks of flowering to get color action going....Just to add some "Bag Appeal" to my bud.
