They are looking good! I bet they're loving that 1000watter you got now.
This thread has turned out to be EPIC! You started with just a 3 compartment cab build and BAM! you're building an industrial grow op.
EPIC!!
It's all a matter of truly believing in one's self. Sitting on my couch for 3 months after being fired, in a state of depression, I realized there is nothing I
can't do. All you have to do is build a solid plan, all on paper, then just start putting one foot in front of the other. I also made a pledge to myself that I would
not use a single dime of the families money. So I walked into a bank, opened up a new business checking account, which for some reason comes with a credit card and an available balance!! Then my past company kept changing 401K providers, which caused me to have to roll over to IRA several times, so what was left in my current 401K was a small amount relative to my total retirement, so I took the 20% hit and took the cash distribution. Then you walk into Lowes, make a REALLY big first time purchase and they ask you if you would like to open up a Lowes credit account, which gives you a 10% discount on the purchase and I don't have to pay that purchase off for 18 months. Same with Home Depot.
Called a leasing agent to show me some light industrial 1900 sq/ft spaces and in 3 days had a signed two year lease with the first 3 months free.
In a matter of 5 days I had cash and I had space. Next step, find a Prop 215 attorney, hand him a small check, and in one more day I've officially been filed as a California Mutual Benefit Non-Profit Corporation and should get my Federal Tax ID within the next week, which will then let me establish a corporate bank account. I now have an attorney and an accountant. This give me "collective" status and I already have 12 patients which allows me to grow 72 plants. I spent a day, created a "portfolio" which included my business plan, pictures of what I've done, and pictures of "what's to come" and walked into 20 dispensaries who are still selling 1/8's at $60 to $70 and asked them "how many pounds would you like to buy if I sold it to you for $x,xxx per pound (far below what I know they are paying)? Most of them thought I was crazy but 11 of those dispensaries were excited. By the time the day was over I had in essence sold my entire crop. Once the first crop comes in, all debt will be paid off, all income taxes WILL BE PAID along with any state and local taxes. ALL CASH will be run through the company books. Three grow sites have recently been raided and the tips came from non other than the IRS once they discovered these growers (who weren't properly filed) were sending large amounts of cash via the postal service.
I'm not going their!!!
I've conducted my first "Board Meeting" with minutes where shares of stock were issued. During the meeting, I brought a motion on the floor and it passed 100% and my corporation has pledged 10% of all net proceeds to Research and Awareness of Arthritis, Depression, Panic Disorder and Anxiety Disorder (everything I suffer from).
BAM, I'm fully capitalized and I can afford to buy top of the line equipment from my local hydro store who is giving me 30% off EVERYTHING, including special orders such as my Current Culture hydro setups, he's 7 minutes down the road, and if ANYTHING goes bad or breaks, he will be my complete remedy.
After doing all that, I still live in a bit of fear and anxiety with the overriding question..."What have I missed?" Hopefully it's only small inconsequential stuff.
yeah buddy looking nice so thats a 1k light that close to the plants nice
Sure is! I'm also blowing 10,000 BTU of A/C and 2 16" fans. The hood doesn't even have a blower on it and the thermometer I set on the glass inside the hood is only at 78*.
Well you can't not do it now, nice update
That's what my partners are saying!!!!
hell yeah man great grow!!
Thanks!!!
The end is very near. One thing I forgot to realize when going from an extremely white CMH bulb to a very yellow HPS bulb is that the color of the plants are misleading and I didn't realize it until I took the following pictures under flash and discovered that yellow leaves under a yellow light tricks the eye into thinking they are still green. Also the flash brings out the color of the Amber Trichs which weren't readily visible under HPS.
The girls started flushing on Friday with pure R/O water and based on the color of the fan leaves are at the right time to harvest.
So without further ado, here are full color shots with a GOOD flash!
That's my lighter and a medicine container hanging down to give scale.
Look how beautiful the colors of my Blue Dream are! My goodness had this plant grown to it's full potential would have been Gorgeous!!!!!
Skywalkers
I'm going to harvest them tomorrow. It's bitter sweet and I've been spending a LOT of time with them because I want to remember this feeling forever.
Looking back at the past 18 months I've realized just how far I've come and just how much I've learned. I truly feel all of those difficulties have made me a far better grower. I've not only learned the science of it but I feel I've tuned in to the artistic side of growing. Looking back at how pathetic these plants once looked, most TOP growers would have thrown them in the trash without a second thought.
These plants had their own mission. Not once did they present me with any difficulty that I couldn't calmly reason through. Once they were in 12/12, it was automatic pilot. So I ask myself, "Do I have what it takes to pull off a 48 plant grow operation?"
I sure hope so.
I haven't even considered it to this point and really have no past grows to give me experience. Based on what you see here, what kind of yield to you think I have here?
