youve just been waiting for that one havnt you ....lol

on earlier post about using a hps instead of all the cfl's ... good luck trying to get that hps to cover all those plants you got ... you did the right thing .. you need more coverage than one would give and would just wind up getting cfls to suppliment all the areas one light could never touch...good job so far, hope you get lots of good dank.....

yes been waiting for her my whole life:hump: lol and i dont think i will every go completely away from cfls they work for me but would like to to add small hps for tops (all hell cfl) and thanks on the dank i am sure some will be but it is bag seed kind of fun not knowing lol:weed:

2 400s would work just fine. they would have much better coverage than those cfls could ever dream of.

awesome job man...ive been crazy busy to brother it doesnt stop lol...but its all good...a 400W hps!!! your gonna kick ass my man, wait till you experience the difference for yourself bro. i want a 400 but my new cab is only gonna be 3x3x5.5 but the flowering part is only gonna be 3x3x3.5 and i think the heat from a 400 will drive me nuts, plus im gonna do perpetual harvest in it, hopefully like every 2 weeks but we'll see, i got some good shaped 2 gallon pots that will work. are you gonna enclose your grow with the hps? if so, consider a booster fan dude...not just for the temp controll but for the big time negative pressure, your ladies will thank you for it :wink:

dude, i use an air cooled 600 in a 3x3 tent. a 400 would be perfect. most people dont understand that 400 watts of cfls are hotter than a 400 hid light. the reason is that the cfls have attached ballasts, but you can use a remote ballast with hid. also watt per watt hids are brighter, so the cfls arent putting out as much light so the extra energy turns to heat.

awesome man, an easy way to check to see if its 120v or 240v is look at the color of the wires you have to attach the plug to...if theres a black,red, or blue and a white and a green its 120
brown, orange, or yellow with a grey and green its 240v

i think im gonna get a 400 dude, i was worried about heat but if sk8 is using a 600 in a 3x3 im thinking id be good lol

400w came today will send pics asap and took small brown nug few days ago but still not dry so i smoked it anyway and dam if its true what they say and it gets twice as good when finshed and dried wow i cant wait lol.:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

Dude, looking good for sure! I dunno about you 2 week deadline, though. I few of those plants look like they need a bit more than 2 weeks, but you know, go with the Trichomes. Cheapo 60-100x Illuminated Mag from radio shack for like 9 bucks will make it so you can harvest your girls when they're in the exact stage of ripeness you prefer! Keep up the good work, CFL's can produce some banging buds!

looking gr-r-r-r-reat dude!!! im thinking you got about a month left man, like meta said. get a mag. glass and try to do it right bro. i chopped my first plant early and regret it all the time. it was premature smoke, and the buds SHRUNK! dude. i know that you lose about 60-80% when drying. but these things went crisp, and i still dry the same way everytime man. good things come to those who wait, especailly when mrs mary jane's knocking lol
