Purple Under Leaves?

Hey anyone experience anything like this? I've read up on deficiencies and its usually when the light up side looks burned purple... BUT the light side of leaves are lush green, so its just the underside and its a natural purple not a burn from nutes? There getting 1/4 strength gh Maxigro with filtered water once a weeek and twice a week just water. Ill get some pics up asap!

what cycle r ur plants in? could be a start of a P deficiency or a natural part of the genes of ur plant.

well get those pics up, people dont like to have to guess & most of the time, we want to know as much info as possible to help u with the proper diagnosis. And alot of the 70 people may have the same type problem or had at one point & thought they'd take a look for an answer themselves. But ur not giving much info to go by...

So both of the leaves are this weird purple colour on the bottom. The veins are green and really stand out.
My other plant which is a little older had it also, but has disappeared on it and is now green again.
Any ideas what it is?

What are you temps? Are they low..?

I have pics I just need to upload them with the computer....temps are 75-79 rh around 36% with lights on n 48%off with. Lows of 66f

It's the low temps man. It happens to some of my plants too (never seen it on seedlings though), but not all of them so I guess it's strain-specific.

That's what I was leaning toward, cause P deficiency has slow growth, while she is still growing like a super plant....she's defiantly getting cloned asap..thanks for the help guys, ill still post pics, and ill get a journal going for you all to be updated on the progress

this has happend to me twice, one was a random strain cause i mixed the seeds in germination and the other time it happend was barneys farm lsd, i done 4 and only one turned out like this, they both turned out fine

If this plant was weeks into flowering we would say it might be genetic. But I agree with temps. Dont forget not to feed your plants with ice cold water that will do it too. Let your water sit opened in the room overnight before watering.

Low temps seem like the cause. I had similar issues with my indoor cabinet grow. At night (when the lights were out) the fan was drawing in cold air getting my temps down to the low 50's. Nice purple vegging going on though

Like said before, get those things a little warmer. Marijuana likes heat over cold anyhow, it's obvious and should be controlled.

I wish you luck though. I feel like if you get the heat up you'll be doing fine.

its my lows are never in the 50s and the temps are ranging from 73-79 with lights on and like 64-69 with the off cycle and i would never use ice water to feed my plants as this causes shock. a few of the others are not turning purple and the leaves are indica domanite too.. here are the pics. light side up light side down or underside

she is supplyed her nutes 1/3 strength through 1gph dripper fed the other night and the next two waterings i give filtered water then nutes again at 1/3 strength..its 6 driplines with 1gph drippers and a five gallon bucket gravity fed...i promise that she is growing at a very fast pace and looks completely healthy...just wondering if im gonna keep seeing purple

i have complete control over the temp and rh by fans and venting, it doesnt get hot as its a large t5 high output setup 8 bulb within a grow space that fits it with a half an inch between width of light and gives an open end with some room. my walls are covered with mylar also..

I have absolutely seen this many times on seedlings before they've had their first feeding. It has always resolved relatively quickly after the first feeding.

thanks guys i figured its its genetics as i have started them out on plain filteren water and slowly upped the nutes until recently which is about 1/3 strength, of 4 gallons of General Hydroponics Maxigro through the 5 gallon res then to the 6 drip lines..its a soil grow in 3.5 gallon buckets with holes on bottom of bucket fro drainage and a matching bucket under it to catch the water and three of them are just 5 gallon buckets with just soil. I feed my outside veggie garden and they love the recycled nutrient rich water.
