The colas on my 2 plants in flowering that were damaged from lamp burn were chopped today. I only harvested the top damaged, ripe, or accidentally cut colas. I will let the other buds continue to develop for another 7-14 days. Chopped colas and after cutting pictures:

I chose the 2 strains Shiva Shanti and AK48 because they are known to be good and easy to grow for new MJ growers. I did a partial harvest this past weekend (63 days flowering) and plan to do the remaining harvest this week, I will post pictures. I am currently doing my personal smoke report of the buds that I cut off several weeks ago. It is really true about how the dried buds change while burning and in taste as it cures, not to mention the increase in potency. I know that I have low or no tolerance when it comes to smoking MJ. When I first tested the buds that I took early I had a really nice uplifting get busy affect. A week or so later smoking the same buds I was knocked out! I think that I may have let my buds go too long because now I fall asleep after every smoke session, not really couch lock but relaxed to the max. I prefer joints, but I have some new toys so I tried my glass pipe and my chillum. How in the hell do you guys sit down and smoke an entire bowl alone? I purchased a regular sized glass pipe, but the bowl is big so I purchased a small glass pipe. Once I compared the two, the bowls are basically the same size in the regular pipe as it is in the small pipe. I filled the bowl a quarter full, smokes it and I am wiped out. I have awakened several times after smoking not realizing that I had fallen asleep LOL! I even tried the mango and MJ smoke out, not that I could tell any effects because I fell asleep afterwards. I have had insomnia for almost 10 years I have been sleeping comfortably every night since I started my personal smoke report. Like I stated in the beginning I didn’t grow great genetics, but I did grow some decent smoking buds.

haha i would give my left arm for my tolarence to be as low as yours again lol
but when youve been smoking ALMOST everyday since 14 (21 now) tolarance seems to build up.
I get ripped off a bowl still but they high peaks in about 20 mins and starts to come down from there.
I wish more females would get into growing the fine herb
if i meet one im marrying her on the spot lol
starting to ramble just wanted to say nice plants and im sure this harvest will have you set for months

Awesome...I received a free replacement 3 pack of Positronics Claustrum from them yesterday!! I wrote Positronics about the shriveled seedling and the dud seed and the Attitude and Positronics sent me the free pack...made it to me in 7 days after the dispatch email...gotta.. say that is awesome customer service..speaks volumes of the breeder and the bank in my eyesMy first order from Attitude arrived today 8 days from ordering. Pineapple Express and Super Lemon Haze, free Kushage, Red Dwarf and Burmese Kush. I will practice my germing skills once again, real soon. I even got a free grinder that I don't know why or how to use.

Well, i'm subbed. I got some Pineapple express the other day...smells SOO much of pineapple and got me incredibly baked. Def worth the time to grow, I'm absolutely gonna grow some when I have a chance. Will be following along.

Week #8-#10 Flowering (Week #22-#24 total) - Pre Grow
AK-48 #1 Shiva Shanti #1
The Pre Grow is has been harvested (chopped, dried, cured and jarred). I did a partial chop of the biggest colas first, and then a few days later chopped the smaller colas and the popcorn buds. I chopped when most of the trichomes were cloudy with some clear and a few amber. I was hoping for a smoke that was uplifting and not couch lock, but every time I smoke I fall asleep. I need to build up my tolerance; right now I must not have any. After drying I cut the buds from the colas, I have not seen many people do this but I like the convenience of opening the jar and selecting a bud or two ready to smoke. An error that I plan to correct today is that I packed the first chop in half pint jars once they were cured to my liking. I now realize that I probably packed too tightly and should have left some room in the jars. I plan to switch to pint size jars so that they will have more air in the jars. The small colas and popcorn buds were not as dry as I would have liked, which is why they are in the larger jars curing and drying. They are ready to be jarred and I plan to do that today. The AK48 yield was not as much as the Shiva Shanti, but the AK48 lost some colas due to breakage (my fault). Regardless, I have more MJ than I would use in 12 months. I plan to share since I have more growing. The AK48 smells so nice, kind of fruity; the Shiva Shanti does not smell the same or as good, must be the differences in strains. I did not weigh the harvest because I didnt want to look for my scale, besides the weight does not matter that much to me. Once dried and cured the buds are much lighter from first being chopped. I am getting excited about my flowering First Grow now that I have ran a trial grow, and am please with the results.

This is my Farm Fox Grow. Farm Fox Ocean Forest soil mixture Farm Fox Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom Botanicare Cal-Mag Pro Dyna Grow ProTeKt
I am calling this my First Grow, Ive gotten some experiments and potential mistakes out of the way and now I am ready for a dedicated grow. My Pre Grow I tried all kinds of different fertilizers, organics, MG, Flower tabs etc.
There are 9 plants in the flowering room. I have made several upgrades in my lighting. I purposely purchased 400 watt HPS lamp fixtures so that I could convert to the CMH bulbs. I also purchased the inexpensive HTG Metal Halide lamp fixture that uses the GE CMH bulb. Two days ago I ordered and received the Philips CMH bulbs for my other (2) fixtures. Now I have (3) 400 watt fixtures in my flowering room all using some type of CMH bulbs. This gives me much more flexibility if I need it, I can move one of the 400 watts to my vegging area. I burned my Pre Grow badly and this time around for flowering I have all the height that my plants can deliver, up to 8 feet with 1 1/2 feet for the light fixture, but I dont want them to get that huge.

This is my Jacks and Dyna Grow and Roots Organic soil mixture grow Jacks Grow, Jacks Blossom Booster Dyna Liquid Grow, Dyna Foliage Pro, Dyna Liquid Bloom, and Dyna ProTeKt Dyna-Gro Cal Mag Pro
Total of 10 plants using CFLs for vegging - Repotted the ladies earlier this week, and they have started growing taller already. The second generation clones are also growing well, one might not make it, but I knew that when I repotted and didnt see any roots coming out of the rock wool. The other three clone will be alright. I did add some Root Stimulator to the recently potted plants to help with shock and stress, and because my plants are such slow starters.
I am planning for my Christmas and New Years holiday smoke, which I need to start by the end of May the way I grow. I would like to try the LSD and the Northern Lights Special, something a little more potent for the holidays. I already have 30+ seeds waiting to get planted sometime in the future. Dang, Ive gotten the grow bug, Im not a big smoker so I will give most of it away. Maybe not, I plan to get into edibles, budder, and tinctures once I have enough bud to work with.

To me it seems like a lot, but I am so new at this that I really don't know. I did share some, telling the person that it was gifted to me and it was more than I needed. I don't want this person to know that I am growing. My 20 year old nephew heard that I was giving away MJ and he asked for a sample. I had to tell him that I would give a sample to his mother and she could do what she wanted as far as sharing with him. I know that I am growing too many plants to be legal myself (12 is supposed to be the limit), still, I don't want to give MJ to anyone underage, relative or not. Silly ethics but they are mine.
