so what tips can you offer me with the lsd, i have grown one of them before, i plan on working with this strain for a while now

Been growing LSD for almost two years now and what a pleasure she is! I am all soil, using FF's nute line, as well as CalMag and SuperThrive....usually feed 1/2 strength after week 3 of veg and full strength after week 5 with no issues, vegging usually 8-12 weeks and flowering under 4x 600w....One of my personal favs and a top 3 fav of my patients as well.......I have such a nice, reliable mother of her.......Lost my other pheno (#3, craziest smell n smoke flavor) of her that I desperately wish I could get back....to this day, dankest smoke I've ever encountered.....also have BF's Sweet Tooth as well.....both joys to have in my lineup

nice post, i would like to ask you a few questions if you dont mind, the first is how long does this take to flower? and is this from 12/12 or first pistils? how would you say it smells, as i said before i have only ever grew one plant and i would say it smelt like lemons or something citrus but i have ever heard anyone else saying this about it? i had to chop it really early as i was moving house

^^ no problem dude.....I had 3 different phenos of it when I originally ran my pack of 5 (1 didnt make it past germ).....they broke down as such:

*I grow soil (house blend from local shop in Seattle), FF nute package, along with CalMag, Super Thrive and tap water adjusted with lemon juice to 6.6ph*.....from seed, I veg for 10 weeks to take bigger clones....once clones root in rockwool, I put in 5gal buckets and veg approx 5-8 weeks.....flowering usually at a height of 3.5-4ft and finishing them around 5-6ft under 4 x 600w hps lumatek ballasts, hortilux bulbs*

1: a little taller, stretchier nodes, smelled like a pine citrus and hit you hard from the firsr toke......finished around 67 days (not keeper for me)

2: Shortest of three, big fat colas, rich citrus flavor, white hairs all the way till finish, and some even had pink hairs as well....yielded highest of three phenos...finishes in about 58-62days (i like it uppy, so i cut with 75/25 cloudy/clear.....(still have as mother).....Love to be topped 3-4 times using fimming (other methods could work too)

3: A little taller like #1, decent spacing between nodes, finished in about 65 days.....Had a smell I CANNOT DESCRIBE!.....to this day, I have not smelled anything like this bud...omfg! had it not of been for the stretching (i did not clone before it finished, and this mistake (which I made earlier in my growing career) caused me to re-do my entire process of cloning then flowering, then smoking and determining a mother versus overall look of the vegging plant....more work but well worth it in the end.....lol stoned ramble, anywhoo This pheno is something special....the high was just as incredible as it smelled...on a drive to CA, I kid you not I literally had Class C hallucinations off 1/2 a blunt of that LSD #3.....

Overall, I look this plant, I look this strain, as mentioned previously, it is a patient favorite of mine as well....fiance also considers it a top3 all time......no wonder why its consistently in Attitude's top10 and consistently on the back of the cover of hightimes listed in attitudes ad.......feel free to PM me if u have any other questions.....happy growing cheers

thanks for that, plus rep, im 3 weeks 12/12 and they are just starting to flower, been showing pistils for the last week or so, would you say this is normal for them? i tought it was maybe a bit slow, the only lsd i have grew before was 12/12 from seed

I have some 7 weeks into flower. The smell is distasteful to me. I have heard many descriptions of the dried product; could you describe the smell of live buds? Mine smell like tomato vines with hints of spoiled meat.

the law has changed in AZ so soon i'll be able to post some of my original LSD grows. Was a gorgeous plant to grow and had an almost vanilla scent and was a hash worthy specimen indeed. Glad to see support of the LSD strain has increased over the years it was introduced. Loved the pictures.

I'm going to order LSD now, I was thinking of making mother plants of them and then in august take as many clones as I can and grow it in Sog, think it would work out fine with this strain?

When I start another grow (I currently have two going) it will be 3 LSD and 3 Northern Lights Special. Hmmm, maybe I'll place my order today...

I have one going now, at 3 or 4 weeks from seed, cant remember. Shes trifoliar and already throwing out side branches. just gave her second feeding at 1/2 strength. Ill be growing outside. what kinda nutes have you used? Ive read that this strain is tolerant of high nutes and does well with them.

I don't know anything about cloning but I've read about people cloning this strain with no problems

I use the fox farm trio and have been feeding like crazy and she's getting fatter and fatter
