What Deficiency Can This Be?

Cali is right if you wanna grow you have to measure PH, in order to do that you need a GOOD METER. That's the start point nothing else- If your PH is 6.5 it's great. I water at 6.2 but I had to PH it to 5.8 the first 6 waterings as my soil was 7 and I needed to lower the medium down.

lol calm your ass down junior..yea a 4.0 wont change it that much and if he has high salt build up in his medium it will help prevent more burns..and i coulda swore he said his ph was 7.0..anyways junior u better watch how u talk around here we aint all first timers like yourself
Where did you here this cali??? sounds like bad advise! to me:bigjoint:never heard of this(water with ph 4.0?) gotta link to your so called theory...solution to his def? and not good for drastic flux in ph??? http://retirees.uwaterloo.ca/~jerry/orchids/light.html

pH: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

The term pH refers to the alkalinity or acidity of a growing media water solution. This solution consists of mineral elements dissolved in ionic form in water. The reaction of this solution whether it is acid, neutral or alkaline will have a marked effect on the availability of mineral elements to plant roots. When there is a greater amount of hydrogen H+ ions the solution will be acid (<7.0). If there is more hydroxyl OH- ions the solution will be alkaline (>7.0). A balance of hydrogen to hydroxyl ions yields a pH neutral soil (=7.0). The range for most crops is 5.5 to 6.2 or slightly acidic. This creates the greatest average level for availability for all essential plant nutrients. Extreme fluctuations of higher or lower pH can cause deficiency or toxicity of nutrients.

...but hey what does anyone else know...those are not my words....:p

That same exact thing just happened to a couple of my ladies, I was having ph problems in my promix so I flushed my pots, my AC bit the shit and it got to like 100 degrees in my room and a day later they looked exactly like yours. So I would say it could possibly be heat related. Buuuuuut what else i'm thinkin might have happened, since I had a lockout and my food was just building up in my soil that when I flushed them it released the food and might have fried them

I stated this in post??? i posted link to what ive read on the subject, and it was not opinion based. i asked you where you heard of this" water with ph of 4.0???" because its the first i've heard of this info ,and wanted to know if you do this often? and if so prove it!
.... but see it won't matter to you either way from your IMMATURE RANT!!!

sound like you like bashing other MEMBERS? well to me, anyways....WHY???.. people who are not as experienced as "you" state? Ego Much???.... sorry i don't kiss ass!...UNLESS YOUR A CHICK!!!:bigjoint:

The problem is you come in and say do this because I say so because I'm the shit dude who really has the attitude here? Narcissistic much? If it truly is valid why not post some info proving such? The ph was in perfect range no reason to adjust it nor for being an asshole when others disagree..how do you expect others to take your advice when rather than being logical and posting proof you bash others for disagreeing?

looks over feed..what did u feed it? and do u ever flush? those spots in pic#1 indicate built up salts in your medium, pic #2 indicates over fertilization and #3 looks like a heat issue and over fert..so i would FLUSH and check the temp
and i repeat for all the people with reading disabilities...>>>>> looks over feed..what did u feed it? and do u ever flush? those spots in pic#1 indicate built up salts in your medium, pic #2 indicates over fertilization and #3 looks like a heat issue and over fert..so i would FLUSH and check the temp

Lmao how do you know I haven't tried this? In fact I have done something much similar to what you are stating and said you aren't that far off however with the results I had I'd think that 4.0 would be too low but hey I don't go around stating my opinions when I have no facts behind it...my problem with you is you attitude and this mightier than thou outlook you seem to have just saying you could stand to practice I little more restraint when addressing people..
