McCain never proved he was Constitutionally eligible for the presidency. The issue--as it was raised by the unusual geographical circumstances of his birth--remains unresolved. The Democrats, to their credit, did not believe it was a matter worth pressing and thus sponsored a resolution in the Senate formally acknowledging his eligibility--but it wasn't determinative of the underlying Constitutional question.

Umm yeah, I don't know if you have figured this out yet, but i am not the one who came up with this whole thing. I did not originate the idea, I am just posting the information. I didn't even see it as an issue until a year ago, 2 years after the first stink was made. Not until then did I see information that made me think otherwise. You are assuming things, I personally have bitched about Clinton's Bush's and Reagans Birth certificates, but then there are tons of people who can testify to the birth place of them. Unfortunately the only people vouching as to having seen Obama born are his grandmother and sisters saying he was born in Kenya and they were there when it happened. Find me a single person who says they were in the hospital room in Hawaii when Obama was born and that person can be verified then I would rest my case. but you can't find anyone.
