The fabled G-13 strains origins read more like legend than actual pedigree G-13 was supposedly developed and grown by the U.S. government for its
marijuana experimentation projects. In actuality, there exist several varieties of G-13, each stabilized and sold by different breeders. In most cases, G-13 is powerfully strong, with a potent body stone and crazy couchlock effects, making this a definite end-of-day strain to smoke. The plants themselves tent to stay short and stocky, with tight, dense buds. G-13 has a very hashy smell that reminds some of burning bubble hash probably due to its ridiculously high resin production.

It is widely believed and accepted that the famous G13 cannabis originated from the United States government (DEA, FBI, CIA), who allegedly ran a cannabis research institute in rural Mississippi in the 1960's and 70's. Reports were made that a "rebel" government worker stole a clone of a pure Afghani strain of cannabis and distributed it to various connections around the United States. This is mostly untrue however. What is known is that a man who went by the name of Sandy Weinstein had a connection at the government funded cannabis research facility conducted at the University of Mississippi. When a man by the name of Neville Schoenmakers one way or another convinced Mr. Weinstein to persuade his friend at the lab to obtain a strain of prime cannabis. It is said that there was a batch of pure Indica Afghani strains of
marijuana. These strains were labeled G1 all the way to G23. The G13 strain that was obtained, cloned and distributed by Schoenmakers is said to have been of much higher quality than any of the other Afghanis.
Ideal for the Sea of Green, this strain grows rapidly with the majority of large, tri-chrome-rich buds congregating on the stem. It also has minimal to no side-branching. This strain gives off a powerfully thick, danky aroma.

Appearance: Well taken care of and full of trichomes. Dense.
Aroma: Chemical pine with a sour apple sweetness, really sticky.
Taste: Similar good taste.
Buzz Type: Energy off the bat, I was right out of my seat and became active and playful. Enjoyed the company I had and had no problem mingling with new faces. Motivated and relaxed, proved a good choice to stay sharp for a day to get things done.
Buzz Length: Long. 2 3 hours
Medicinal Use: (We are NOT doctors personal opinion ONLY) Most recommended for introversion and nervousness, I noticed no pain and had an overall good feeling as well.
Overall: I dig it. Best kind med for a long day, energy driven with no decline accompanied with a good attitude. One to be noted. This bud was kind of a surprise for me, most of the G-13s Ive smoked lacked the kick I looked for. Not this one! This is by far one of the best G-13′s Ive had to date.
